The team from Etihad Airways and the Department of Culture and Tourism Abu Dhabi have been spreading the message of strength these past weeks by hand delivering plants to lucky travel agents throughout Sydney and Brisbane.
Over 200 plants with the message “Even in the toughest times, we’ll grow stronger together”, were hand delivered by Etihad and Abu Dhabi representatives to 200 travel agents in Sydney and Brisbane.
Melbourne friends will receive theirs when we’re allowed to start visiting again.
Country Manager Jennifer Gaskin said today, “In these times, when everyone is feeling uncertain, we sought to reach out to our travel agents, to show we care and to say we stand with them.”
“Of course, as soon as we can travel down to Victoria, we’ll be there to spread some cheer too.” Ms Gaskin concluded.
Sarah Built, General Manager Australia and New Zealand said, “Now more than ever, we need to be supporting one another. The delivery to our partners in the industry is our way of saying thanks for the amazing support we’ve seen and to show that now, in the toughest of times we will get through this together.”
