Western Australian regional tourism organisation, Australia’s Coral Coast, has launched its annual Holiday Planner for 2020.
This planner is a comprehensive consumer travel guide for holidaying on the Coral Coast, with a range of insider tips, itineraries, and travel information for planning and while travelling in the region.
Australia’s Coral Coast stretches along 1,100km of breathtaking coastline from Cervantes to Exmouth, where stunning bays, fascinating wildlife, and rugged landscapes exist in abundance. The region is known for some of the best known and most loved attractions within Australia – from the Pinnacles, Kalbarri National Park, Shark Bay World Heritage Area and Monkey Mia, to the mesmerising Ningaloo Reef World Heritage Area. The Coral Coast is also known for carpets of everlastings, unique flowers such as the popular Wreath Leschenaultia, along with various orchids and native bush flowers during wildflower season.
The holiday planning guide provides essential information on these experiences, and more, allowing visitors to make the most of their trip through the Coral Coast.
According to David O’Malley, Chief Executive Officer of Australia’s Coral Coast, the holiday planning guide is a go-to document for any domestic or international consumer looking for inspiration and to plan their holiday to the Coral Coast, with the information being relevant to first-time visitors as well as those who frequent the region.
“The guide offers invaluable guidance, as well as providing information such as the best time of year to visit for certain experiences, tours, attractions and locations”.
The planner has a number of itineraries, including the epic Coral Coast Highway scenic drive, now more accessible due to the introduction of the reduced one-way rental fee with Avis Rent a Car. Effective from April – October 2020, this initiative allows consumers to discover a combination of some of Australia’s most amazing attractions and experiences, many found nowhere else on earth, driving one way and returning with Qantas.
The 2020 Holiday Planner is full of inspirational imagery, with many images being sourced from Instagram and Facebook users who have tagged Australia’s Coral Coast in their travel snaps. The front cover image, a dramatic image of Kalbarri National Park, was sourced from Olly and Milly from @unexplored footsteps.
The planner is available here, where it can be viewed online and/or downloaded. Hard copies are distributed to travel agencies, tour operators and visitor centres nationally and internationally. Interested consumers can request a hard copy through the website which is mailed out.
