Get your stretchy pants ready because this Lunar New Year, WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo is offering all-you-can-eat dumplings plus exclusive after-hours access to the zoo!
In partnership with the dumpling experts at New Shanghai, guests will enjoy Darling Harbour’s FIRST all-you-can-eat dumplings experience at twilight, in the company of koalas!
Every day of the Lunar New Year period (Wednesday 22 January – Thursday 30 January), the Koala Rooftop at WILD LIFE Sydney Zoo will be transformed into a ‘Chinese Dumpling Kingdom’, welcoming dumpling lovers to rejoice and celebrate the Lunar New Year festivities in style!
AND through the WILD LIFE Conservation Fund, $5 from each ticket will go towards supporting wildlife charities helping injured animals affected by the bushfires.
Best known for their delectable dumplings, the team at New Shanghai are serving up a custom menu that features all the crowd favourites! Think prawn and pork wontons, chicken and celery as well as a range of vegetarian dumplings and Xiao Long Bao.
Before enjoying a twilight dumpling session surrounded by koalas, visitors will enjoy exclusive after-hour access to the zoo with the chance to meet and snap the perfect selfie with the Aussie Big 5: Explore the Zoo’s Kangaroo Walk-About and meet the adorable Kangaroo Joeys – Spring and Summer then hop around and see Ringo the wombat. Spot the resident platypus pals Jackie and Zoey at the Platypus Pools, before entering the daring world of Kakadu Gorge where they’ll come eye to eye with a huge Saltwater Crocodile! Spaces are limited, so be sure to pre-book!

- Please allow between 45 minutes to 60 minutes for your self-guided tour before your all-you-can-eat-dumplings session (it can take up 45min to walk through the zoo and get to Koala Rooftop). This is also to make sure you have enough time to prepare your stomach
