EVA Air is now flying between Taipei and Da Nang nonstop daily. It launched the new route on December 21, 2019 and is serving the route with an Airbus A321-200 configured for 184 passengers, 8 in Business Class and 176 in Economy. The new route gives passengers on EVA’s 82 weekly flights from North America greater itinerary flexibility and more convenient access to Central Vietnam and the largest city in the region via easy, one-stop connections through Taipei.
Da Nang marks the halfway point between Hanoi, Vietnam’s capital in the north, and Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) in the south. It’s the fourth largest city in Vietnam. Da Nang offers white sandy beaches, crystal blue water and a beautiful coastline. “Forbes” readers voted its beach one of the six most beautiful in the world and “National Geographic Magazine” identified it among the “50 Places of a Lifetime: The World’s Greatest Destinations.” Da Nang is also the center point in the middle of three UNESCO World Heritage sites, the Hue Citadel, the ancient trading village of Hoi An and My Son Sanctuary, making all of these locations easily accessible via one destination. Visitors will find numerous attractions in and near Da Nang to love.
EVA’s new Taipei-Da Nang route makes travel between North America and Central Vietnam easier than ever. Da Nang arrival time is early enough in the day for passengers to enjoy lunch and sightseeing. Return flights to Taipei are scheduled so that passengers can make one-stop connections to all of the major cities EVA serves in North America, including Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco, Seattle, Toronto and Vancouver.
