On 28 November, The Fullerton Hotel Sydney will officially herald in the festive season with its inaugural Christmas Light-Up Celebration event. From festive dining to an elevated stay experience in the heart of Sydney that brims with celebratory activities, make festive “Fullerton Memories” with family and friends in the newly launched luxury hotel.
Inaugural Christmas Light-Up Celebration in The Fullerton Hotel Sydney
Hotel guests and the public can arrive in style at the beautifully decorated Fullerton Hotel Sydney, and share in the joy of the season as they receive complimentary Christmas goodies, while carollers and a candle-lit march-in by hotel staff herald the start of the Christmas season in the hotel lobby. The light-up of The Fullerton Hotel Sydney Christmas tree will take place on 28 November at 5.45pm.
Adorned with more than 500 limited-edition Fullerton Christmas Santa Bears, the tree will be the first of its kind in Australia. Guests can also look forward to collecting the new Fullerton Christmas Santa Bear this year. Hugging a sand snowman that is created in the likeness of snowman sand sculptures found on the beaches of Sydney over the summer, the Fullerton Christmas Santa Bear makes for an ideal Christmas gift idea.
Each of the Fullerton Christmas Santa Bears is priced at A$28 and available to purchase at the hotel’s Front Desk and The Place from 28 November to 25 December. In line with the season of giving, The Fullerton Hotel Sydney will donate A$10 from the sale of each bear to The Girls and Boys Brigade, an inner-city children’s charity which has been providing care and help to children for over 137 years.
Christmas Charity Buffet Dinner at The Place
Following the Christmas Light-Up ceremony, Cavaliere Giovanni Viterale, General Manager of The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts, and Mark Burns, General Manager of The Fullerton Hotel Sydney, will don chef’s whites and present their culinary skills in a charity culinary presentation at The Place, which is located at the mezzanine level of the hotel at 6.15pm on the same day.
“In line with our brand’s philosophy to contribute to the community in which our hotel is situated, we are delighted to do our part for charity during this special season. At the same time, we encourage our guests and the wider community to join us in our efforts by partaking in the Christmas Charity Buffet Dinner or purchasing a limited edition Fullerton Christmas Santa Bear, as partial proceeds will be donated to The Girls and Boys Brigade,” said Cavaliere Giovanni Viterale, General Manager of The Fullerton Hotels and Resorts.
Guests will watch them whip up Christmas-themed speciality dishes including an authentic Italian pasta dish created by Cavaliere Giovanni who hails from Salerno, Italy. The dish comprises garlic, bottarga – a Southern Italian delicacy of cured fish roe, vongole and calamarata pasta. Guests can enjoy the special dish and savour a hearty spread consisting of sumptuous Christmas dishes and international flavours at the Christmas Charity Buffet Dinner that is priced at A$86.00 per adult and A$43.00 for children aged 3 to 12 years old. The Fullerton Hotel Sydney will donate A$20 from every adult dinner ticket sold to its official charity partner, The Girls and Boys Brigade.
