Group tickets are now on sale for Toast Martinborough 2019 – celebrating New Zealand’s most iconic wine region, combining the very best wine, food and music all set amongst the vines that inspire it all.
Toast Martinborough General Manager, Anna Nielson said the 28th annual Toast was guaranteed to take festivalgoers to the very heart of the Martinborough wine community’s devotion to its craft.
“The thing that makes Toast Martinborough such a fantastic event year after year, is every one of the participating vineyards is totally committed to the quality of the wine they make and ensuring every festivalgoer has the best possible experience.
“We have a limited number of group packages available for groups of six or more, but only for those who get in quick.”
Ms Nielson said at $80 a ticket (plus ticketing fees) group bookings offered the best value for Toast Martinborough tickets.
“This year we have 10 vineyard sites showcasing the very best wines, some of New Zealand’s favourite chefs devising a range of food matches to have taste buds dancing, and some of the best local music acts providing an ever-changing soundtrack to underscore the day.”
Ms Nielson said befitting Martinborough’s hands-on approach, all wines are poured by the same people who made them.
“Whether it’s trying the different styles of bubbles, discovering the new release rose and sauvignon blanc, tracking down a vintage pinot, or simply discovering a wine you’ve never tried before – there’s a wine for every palate.”
Festivalgoers will be able to begin the day with a complimentary ‘Taste of Toast’ before relying on Toast’s cashless wristband payment system to make purchasing effortless, while the Toast app will have all the essential information – including what’s on where, the wine, food and music menu, and which vineyards are ‘pumpin’ or ‘chillin’.
As for getting around, festivalgoers can discover each vineyard by riding the free shuttle buses or follow the thread of people making their way on foot.
“Whether it’s your first time or an annual tradition, there’s never been a better time to assemble your friends, dress to impress, and experience Toast Martinborough,” Ms Nielson said.
“We’ve thought of everything to make the day an unmissable event in the calendar, so people need to get in quickly to secure their group booking, accommodation and transport.”
