Small-ship cruise specialist unveils savings across Greece, Croatia, Tahiti and beyond, with bookings opening on 12 November.
Variety Cruises plans to cut selected cruise fares by up to 50% in a Black Friday sale. The deal spans Greece, Croatia, Tahiti and other parts of the world. Bookings open on 12 November and close on 7 December 2026.
The sale applies to new bookings for eligible trips in 2026 and 2027. The top saving may turn heads. But the words “up to” still do some heavy lifting.
Small ships, big choice
The offer covers seven-night cruises in destinations across the company’s network. In Tahiti and French Polynesia, selected 10- and 11-night trips also qualify.
In Greece, the focus is on island life and ports that can be harder for large ships to reach. A Croatia and Montenegro cruise brings a fresh choice for 2027. The route sails from Dubrovnik and takes in the Adriatic coast and the Bay of Kotor.
That trip is aboard Callisto, which carries up to 34 guests, according to the line’s website. Stops include Mljet, Vis, Hvar and Kotor. Think old stone towns, calm bays and time to go ashore. A ship with thousands of guests would be rather out of place.
The sale also lists the Seychelles, Tahiti, Cape Verde and West Africa. For those who prefer a small ship and a slower pace, the range has clear appeal.
Check the fine print before sailing
The 50 per cent figure is the highest advertised saving. It does not mean every ship, date or cabin will be sold at half price. Guests should ask for the exact fare and check what is included.
The company says the deal is for new bookings only. It cannot be added to an existing booking. To claim the sale fare, guests must quote “VC BLACK FRIDAY 2026” when they book.
There is also a key payment rule: you must pay the full fare within seven days of booking. That is worth a close look. Flights, leave from work and other plans may still need to be locked in.
The sale ends on 7 December, but that does not mean every cabin will be on offer until the last day. Check rates and availability for each trip.
