Sunway Hospitality Group, a member of the Global Hotel Alliance (GHA), secured three accolades at the Hospitality Asia Platinum Awards (HAPA) 2026, recognising the Group’s leadership and commitment to hospitality excellence.
Leading the honours was Alex Castaldi, Chief Executive Officer of Sunway Hospitality Group, who was named CEO of the Year in recognition of his leadership, strategic vision and contributions to the hospitality industry.
Under his leadership, the Group continues to strengthen its portfolio, elevate guest experiences and foster a high-performance culture that empowers its people to excel. Adding to the Group’s achievements, Sunway Resort Hotel, its flagship property, received two distinctions, earning a place among the Top 5 5-Star Resorts and Top 10 for Service Excellence in the 5-Star Resort category.
