Ethiopian Airlines has launched its Black Friday flight sale early, with 10% off eligible Economy and Cloud Nine Business Class fares booked by 25 November 2026.
The deal went live on 26 October. It covers travel from 26 October to 30 November 2026, then again from 1 February to 15 May 2027.
There is a gap, and it is a big one. December and January are out. Anyone hoping to save on a Christmas or New Year trip may have to look elsewhere.
The sale covers eligible flights across the carrier’s route map. It includes flights from Singapore, but not every journey will qualify. Trips that start or end in Addis Ababa, Somalia or China are excluded.
That may sound odd. Addis Ababa is the airline’s main hub, where many passengers change planes. But the terms name it as an excluded start or end point, not as a transit stop. Passengers with a connection through the hub should check their full route before booking.

Ethiopian says it flies to more than 60 points in Africa and over 120 cities worldwide. That opens up a wide range of trips, from a short break to a long tour.
The catch, as with most fare sales, is in the small print. The airline’s official terms say the deal applies to bookings made on its website or mobile app.
Nor should travellers assume the full ticket price will fall by 10%. The airline says the price shown includes taxes and airline fees, but it does not say each charge will be cut by the same amount. Seats and fares can change, and normal fees still apply if plans change.
The booking window closes on 25 November. The airline has not set out an exact cut-off time, so a last-hour dash is a risk.
Travellers can check routes and book on the official Ethiopian Airlines sale page. As ever, ask your travel adviser first for help with the route, the rules and the final cost.
It is a timely deal, though not for the time of year when most people hang up the Christmas lights.
