Spread the love

The wait is over. Bazaar is back.

QT Gold Coast’s much-loved signature restaurant Bazaar has returned. It brings a fresh new look, a sharper focus on quality and its bustling marketplace at the heart of it all.

The grill is firing, the stations are live and the dining room has had a freshen up. A new colour palette and furniture set the scene for an evolved food and drink offering, built around local produce, live cooking and the people behind every plate.

The Menu

Part open kitchen, part global marketplace and always a feast for the senses, Bazaar puts the cooking front and centre. Award-winning chefs work within arm’s reach, dishes are made to order and the menu moves with the seasons. It champions local and regional Queensland produce, with sustainable sourcing at its core.

Quality leads the way across the expanded live stations. Premium Australian seafood and steaks are fired to order on the new dedicated grill, sashimi is sliced fresh, and pasta gets its finishing flourish in a Parmesan wheel. Among the culinary highlights is a reinvention of san choy bow, with crisp lettuce cups filled with diced prawns and A-grade sashimi, bringing freshness and texture to the familiar favourite. A showstopping meat station features premium cuts prepared by the kilogram and sliced to order, while the CocoWhip station shifts from wholesome to wonderfully playful, pairing berries and granola at breakfast before making way for lollies and fun, build-your-own toppings at dinner.

Eating well has its place at the feast too, with whole foods and nourishing options woven throughout the menu. Come morning, omelettes are made your way and fluffy pancakes are flipped fresh before your eyes. For something sweeter, a new frozen yoghurt station hands guests the reins to top to their heart’s content.

At the bar, fresh fruit finds its way into cocktails, spritzes, alongside juices and barista-crafted coffee, while a new self-serve soft drink fountain keeps glasses topped up.

There’s always something new to discover. Seasonal collaborations with local producers and brands, emerging food trends and unexpected additions keep the marketplace moving, giving even the most seasoned Bazaar regular a reason to take another lap.

The Team

Leading the kitchen is newly appointed Head Chef Tommy Watkins. Raised on the Gold Coast, Tommy has built his career on bold flavour and backing local suppliers. He’s joined by Executive Chef Greg Benney, Head Pastry Chef Dan King, and Venue Manager Rowan Clark, a team who know their way around the Gold Coast rather well.

This time around, guests will see even more of the people behind the plates. Chefs are part of the experience, the producers are part of the story, and a recommendation on what to eat or where to head next is never far away.

Experience

Bazaar returns refreshed, yet familiar. A new colour palette, updated furniture and open cooking stations dial up the energy, while everything guests have long loved about Bazaar stays firmly on the table.

For first-timers wondering where to begin, the new hosted Wayfinder experience takes guests on a guided tour of the marketplace, introducing the stations, produce and people behind them – a destination not just for seafood enthusiast, but for food lovers of every kind. It’s all part of a more personal Bazaar, where conversations with chefs and staff bring guests closer to what’s on the plate and where it came from.

Made for family feasts, celebrations, tables full of friends and hungry food lovers, Bazaar serves up the kind of spread best left to someone else to prepare. Kids aged 12 and under can join the feast with the Kids Eat Free offer, while a new accommodation package, Stay Longer. Feast Larger. Experience more Bazaar pairs the Bazaar experience with a stay at QT Gold Coast.

Stephen Morahan, General Manager of QT Gold Coast, shared: “Bazaar has long held a special place at QT Gold Coast, so welcoming guests back through the doors is an incredibly exciting moment for our team. We’ve kept the abundance, discovery and personality people know and love, while giving guests even more ways to connect with our chefs, our local producers and the food in front of them. Whether it’s a familiar favourite or your first time around the marketplace, there’s always something new to discover.”
