Air Astana has launched its winter schedule, which will be effective through until 27th March 2027. The new schedule features expanded international connections, new destinations and increased flight frequencies to popular leisure destinations.
Major highlights of the winter schedule include twice weekly direct flights between Almaty and Tokyo (Narita) commencing on 30th November 2026 and the introduction of twice weekly direct flights between Astana and Bangkok, which compliments the existing daily Almaty to Bangkok service.
New seasonal services include flights from Almaty and Astana to Salalah, Oman, and three times a week flights from Almaty to Langkawi, Malaysia, from 25th December 2026 to 27th March 2027.
The airline is also increasing frequencies to popular leisure destinations. Flights from Almaty to the Maldives will operate up to daily during peak holiday periods, while services to Phu Quoc, Vietnam, will increase to daily from Almaty in December, alongside three weekly flights from Astana.
Flights to Dubai will increase to 12 per week from Almaty and up to 10 from Astana. Services to Phuket will also expand, reaching up to nine weekly flights from Almaty from early December.
Air Astana Group will continue to strengthen Astana as an international hub, with new scheduled and charter routes bringing the Group’s network up to 32 destinations. Weekly international departures have increased from 99 to 116 during 2026.
“During the 2026–2027 winter season, Air Astana will expand its international route network with flights to Tokyo, Oman and Langkawi. Increased frequencies to the Maldives, Phuket and Dubai will offer passengers more travel options for winter holidays and festive breaks,” said Yerbolat Baisalykov, Senior Vice-President of Revenue Management and Commercial Planning at Air Astana.
