Aspen Snowmass will celebrate its 80th anniversary during the 2026/27 Northern Hemisphere winter season with significant mountain upgrades, new dining experiences and special anniversary celebrations.
Among the season’s highlights is the opening of the all-new Ullrhof Restaurant at Snowmass. Following a US$42 million redevelopment, the iconic mid-mountain restaurant has been transformed into a modern dining destination featuring multiple food and beverage concepts and expanded capacity for more than 600 guests.
Aspen Mountain will also debut the new Nell Bell chairlift, a high-speed quad providing faster access to some of the resort’s most popular terrain.
Additional investments include expanded snowmaking infrastructure across the resort’s four mountains, helping to deliver reliable conditions throughout the season.
To celebrate its milestone anniversary, Aspen Snowmass will host special events throughout winter, including US$80 lift tickets across all four mountains on 12 and 13 December 2026.
The season will also mark the final opportunity for visitors to stay at The Little Nell before the iconic luxury ski-in/ski-out hotel closes in April 2027 for a major refurbishment, scheduled for completion in 2028.
