Camden Valley Inn is proud to announce that Kayla Seeney has been named Best Publican at the 2026 Australian Liquor Industry Awards (ALIA), one of the highest honours in Australia’s hospitality and liquor industry.
Presented at The Fullerton Hotel Sydney on Wednesday 28 October, the ALIAs celebrate excellence across Australia’s bars, pubs, hotels, retailers, brands, and suppliers. Best Publican recognises an outstanding leader who has demonstrated exceptional vision, operational excellence, team culture, guest experience, and contribution to the pub and hotel sector. Kayla was selected from a strong national field of finalists.
This recognition is a testament to Kayla’s leadership at Camden Valley Inn, where her commitment to warm, genuine hospitality, high standards, and a strong team culture has helped make the venue a much-loved destination for locals and visitors alike.
“I’m incredibly honoured to receive this award,” said Kayla Seeney. “The recognition is absolutely fantastic, I love this industry. I love my job, I love the people, and I love my venue. I’m the licensee at the Camden Valley Inn and I’ve been there for 14 years now, so I’ve really seen the place evolve and grow with the community.”
Head of Lewis Land Brad Jenkins congratulated Kayla on the achievement.
“Kayla’s recognition as Best Publican at the ALIAs is a wonderful reflection of her leadership and the culture she has built at Camden Valley Inn,” said Mr Jenkins. “She leads with authenticity, energy, and a genuine focus on both her team and her guests, and this award is richly deserved.”
“Camden Valley Inn has always been about exceptional hospitality and strong community connections. Kayla embodies those values every day, and we are incredibly proud to see her recognised on a national stage.”
Camden Valley Inn congratulates Kayla on this outstanding achievement and thanks its team, guests, suppliers, and the wider Camden community for their continued support.
