Award-winning agency Helloworld Travel Ferntree Gully is celebrating 25 years in business with the opening of a brand new, expanded location, marking an exciting new chapter for one of the region’s most respected and long-standing travel agencies.

Owned by husband-and-wife team Debbie and Russell Wilkie, the move represents the next chapter for the successful multi-store owners. In addition to Helloworld Travel Ferntree Gully, the couple also own Helloworld Travel Fountain Gate and have spent more than two decades building a strong reputation within both the local community and the wider travel industry.

The new premises provide significantly more space for customers and staff and feature a contemporary new design, creating a welcoming environment that reflects the agency’s continued commitment to delivering personalised travel advice and exceptional service.

The milestone comes after another successful year for the business, with the agency recognised as Helloworld Travel’s Victorian Branded Agency of the Year (Multi Store) in 2026.

To celebrate both the anniversary and the official opening of the new location, the agency hosted a special opening event, bringing together clients, industry partners, family and friends to mark the occasion.

Debbie and Russell said the move was an exciting moment for both the business and the community.

“We’re thrilled with how the new store has come together. Transforming a former chemist into a travel agency has exceeded our expectations, and to do it as we celebrate 25 years in business makes it even more special. Our success has always been built on relationships and a genuine passion for helping people experience the world, and we’re grateful to the many customers who have supported us along the way.”

“Moving into our new location is an investment in the future of our business and gives us the opportunity to create an even better experience for our clients. We’re excited to celebrate this milestone and look forward to helping our community see the world for many years to come.”
