Extensive Global Recognition

Since opening in 2008, The St. Regis Singapore has established itself as one of the city’s most distinguished luxury hotels and a trusted venue for hosting high-level diplomatic engagements, international events and distinguished guests. Its reputation has been recognised by Condé Nast Traveller, which named the hotel a recipient of its 2026 Triple Crown Awards. The accolade honours hotels that have made it to all three of the publication’s flagship awards lists over the past 30 years; the Hot List, the Gold List and the Readers’ Choice Awards. The St. Regis Singapore was named in the 2008 Hot List, the 2018 Gold List, and the Readers’ Choice Awards in 2017, 2020 and 2025.

Helmed by FBEYE International, whose Founder and Creative Director, Mr. Warren Foster-Brown, was part of the original team who designed The St. Regis Singapore when it opened in 2008, the recent redesign pays poetic homage to the Singapore Botanic Gardens – a UNESCO World Heritage Site, located just steps away from the property. Anchoring the hotel experience with a renewed sense of place, this evolution is necessary to appeal to a new generation of luxury guests. Further affirming the success of its contemplated biophilic redesign, The St. Regis Singapore was recognised with the 5-Star Best Hotel Interior (Singapore) accolade at the International Property Awards, Asia Pacific Hotel Awards 2026–2027.

The impact of the transformation has also been acknowledged across hospitality, wellness and dining. The St. Regis Singapore and The St. Regis Spa were each awarded 4 Stars by Forbes Travel Guide 2026. The hotel was placed third among the Best Hotels in Singapore in Travel + Leisure’s World’s Best Awards 2026, while The St. Regis Spa was listed among the Top 10 Best Hotel Spas in Travel + Leisure’s Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2026.

The St. Regis Singapore was also recognised among Tatler’s Best Hotels in Singapore 2026. Sophia and Yan Ting were also included in Tatler’s Best Spotlight Restaurants 2026, with Yan Ting further recognised as a Selected Restaurant in the MICHELIN Guide Singapore 2026.

Design Excellence

The success of the hotel’s redesign is rooted in the legacy of The St. Regis Singapore, and its personal significance to Mrs. Cecilia Kwek, wife of Mr. Kwek Leng Beng, Executive Chairman of the Hong Leong Group, whose hospitality portfolio includes The St. Regis Singapore.

“The St. Regis Singapore has always held a special place in our hearts and remains one of Singapore’s most iconic luxury hotels. Cecilia was actively involved in key conversations around the redesign, including the artwork, furnishings, lighting, colour palettes and interior details. Seeing The St. Regis Singapore receive international recognition following this transformation makes these milestones especially meaningful,” said Mr. Kwek Leng Beng, Executive Chairman of the Hong Leong Group.

Eco-Conscious Hospitality

“Luxury hospitality has long been defined by indulgence. With our recent renovations, we took the opportunity to reimagine and showcase that sustainability is not a compromise, but an enhancement to the guest experience,” said Mr. Nick Heath, General Manager of The St. Regis Singapore.

The recent completion of the 335-square metre Presidential Suite marks the final chapter in The St. Regis Singapore’s extensive transformation. Across the hotel, technology and sustainability are seamlessly integrated to ensure that guests are able to stay exquisitely without sacrificing comfort. Motion sensors for the blinds and air-conditioning gently activate only when required, while an in-room water tap dispenses both hot and ambient drinking water, eliminating single-use plastic bottles. Eco-composite flooring is comprised of up to 50% recycled material, while refillable residential-sized bathroom amenities replace disposable packaging.

Eco-conscious initiatives extend beyond the guest room. In the dining outlets, menus are curated with care; featuring sustainably sourced seafood, cage-free eggs, and plant-based menu options – emphasising ethical, flavourful, and future-focused dining. Behind the scenes, use of a food digester and an automated food waste management system provide insights to ensure that what is not consumed, is responsibly handled.

As part of Marriott International’s Connect Responsibly programme, meeting and event planners are given access to a detailed Meeting Impact Report post-event to measure the environmental impact of their event and select options such as nature protection and reforestation to support carbon offset projects with South Pole, a carbon asset developer and climate consultancy. In the hotel’s meeting venues, locally bottled water, mint wrappers made with FSC-certified paper and linen-less banquet tables reduce environmental impact.

Enhanced Event & Wedding Venues

Reinforcing The St. Regis Singapore’s ambition to be a premier MICE and wedding destination, all of the hotel’s 10 event venues, totaling over 14,000 square feet of event space, went through a makeover. The iconic John Jacob Ballroom now boasts two new LED walls, each measuring 9.6m x 5.29m, enabling more immersive presentations, while the foyer’s new built-in bar elevates pre-event cocktail receptions.

Connected and adjacent to the main building, Caroline’s Mansion offers an exclusive venue for more intimate gatherings. Once an indoor tennis court, it was transformed in 2019 into a stunning mansion inspired by Mrs. Caroline Astor’s Upper East Side home – featuring a private entryway, foyer and grand staircase. The space can be subdivided into three smaller meeting rooms, perfect for intimate celebrations or corporate gatherings.

Five newly refreshed meeting rooms on level one feature upgraded audio-visual capabilities, while the foyer has been enhanced with dedicated coffee stations, an operable bar, and intimate seating areas to facilitate networking and discussions.

“This considered transformation of our event and wedding venues reflects a shift from traditional spaces to more bespoke and engaging experiences. By blending legacy with innovation, we are strengthening our hotel’s position to become a global hub for meetings, incentives, conferences, exhibitions, and weddings while remaining committed to delivering experiences that are deeply personal, distinctly St. Regis and unmistakably local,” said Mr. Nick Heath, General Manager of The St. Regis Singapore.
