Australian accommodation provider CLLIX Apartments and Hotels has continued its commitment to supporting people in need by providing meals, school supplies and care packages to 200 children in Quezon City, Philippines, as part of its annual Founder’s Day celebrations.
Held at Justice Cecilia Muñoz Palma High School, the initiative was delivered through CLLIX’s “Each One Feed One” program and coincided with Founder and CEO Michael Song’s birthday.
Since the program began in 2022, “Each One Feed One” has provided meals, essential supplies and support initiatives to thousands of children and community members across the locations where CLLIX operates. The program has brought CLLIX teams together with local organisations across Australia, India and the Philippines, creating opportunities for staff to contribute directly to those experiencing hardship.
This year’s Founder’s Day initiative in Manila focused on 200 children enrolled in the school’s “Aral Program”, with Aral meaning “study”. The program assists children from families experiencing financial hardship who have been unable to attend school regularly and are working to catch up with their peers, particularly in reading and writing.
As part of the Founder’s Day event, each child received a meal and a loot bag with school supplies and snacks.
For children facing financial hardship, these practical gestures can provide more than immediate assistance, helping to remove everyday barriers that can make continuing their education difficult.

“CLLIX Founder’s Day is a time to celebrate our Founder and CEO Michael Song’s birthday by giving back to the community,” said Shankar Kotha, Chief Commercial Officer at CLLIX Apartments and Hotels.
“Through our ‘Each One Feed One’ charity initiative in Manila, we honour his vision and values by sharing kindness, bringing our people together, and making a positive difference in others’ lives.”
The 2026 initiative was made possible through the support of Dr Florito J. Gereña, School Principal, and Jeffrey Barrientos, School Academic Recovery and Accessible Learning Focal Person, who helped CLLIX deliver the initiative to children participating in the Aral Program.
For CLLIX, Founder’s Day has evolved into an annual opportunity for its people to step beyond the workplace and contribute to the communities where they live and work — reinforcing CLLIX’s belief that hospitality is ultimately about people, care and connection.
Through “Each One Feed One”, CLLIX aims to continue providing meals and practical assistance to children and people in need — child by child, meal by meal and act of kindness by act of kindness.
