Noku Maldives, Vignette Collection, the boutique resort nestled in the pristine Noonu Atoll, will be transformed into a festive wonderland this December as it rings in Christmas and New Year amid the “Enchanted Gardens” of Kuda Funafaru, its verdant island home.
From 20th December 2026 to 7th January 2027, Noku Maldives will showcase 19 days of experiences that flow throughout the entire resort journey, from wellness and conservation to gastronomy and entertainment, to create cherished memories for couples and families alike.
Like the island’s fragrant flowers and lush foliage, the season’s celebrations will grow organically at Noku Maldives, starting gently and blossoming into a vibrant crescendo. Following the official Christmas Tree lighting ceremony on 20th December, all ages will be able to enjoy a choice of activities to help them prepare for the festive season, from Mat Pilates and Power Walks at the Noku Spa to Coconut Flower Making classes and Turtle Talks with the resident marine biologist.
Christmas Blooms in the Noonu Atoll
Christmas spirit blooms on 24th and 25th December, as Santa Claus arrives on the resort’s pure shores to sip sunset drinks with adults and to offer gifts to children. With a glamorous Gala Dinner at Palms Restaurant, illuminated with live music, face painting, magic shows, boduberu drum performances and live DJs on Christmas Eve, followed by a long, laid-back Christmas Brunch on Christmas Day, loved ones can come together and mark this magical time of year in style.
The week between Christmas and New Year provides a blissful break from the festive indulgence – an opportunity to soothe the mind, body and soul, and reconnect with island life. At Noku Maldives, guests can enjoy a series of immersive activities, such as Aquatic Yoga, Island Visits by boat, and the chance to hear timeless stories and traditional music from local people at the Maldivian House. Naturally, little island explorers will be kept fully entertained and engaged, and every evening can be enhanced with fine food and live music at Palms.
Glittering New Year’s Eve – and Beyond
As the calendar turns to 31st December, guests can get ready for a spectacular New Year’s Eve at Noku Maldives. Following evening cocktails, a glittering New Year Gala Dinner will be staged at a long table under the stars, presented by a master of ceremonies and accompanied by a live band, fun games, fire shows and dance performances. Revellers can then kick off their shoes and dance the night away with a live DJ and New Year countdown, as fireworks light up the island sky at midnight – an inspiring end to an unforgettable evening.
New Year’s Day is a wonderful time to come together, share resolutions and savour a relaxing New Year Brunch by the sea, filled with fine food and cool cocktails. But the revelry doesn’t end here; Noku Maldives will continue to delight couples and families with another week of uplifting activities, including children’s crafts, wellness rituals, skincare workshops and conservation experiences, so every guest can start 2027 as they mean to go on. Then, as day turns to night, sunset cocktails, live music and DJ sets will extend the celebrations until the early hours.
