Mandarin Oriental, Bangkok welcomes the arrival of autumn with The Autumn Afternoon Tea, available at The Authors’ Lounge from 1 September to 30 November 2026. Inspired by the colours and flavours of the season, the menu brings together delicate savouries, warm scones and handcrafted pastries in one of Bangkok’s most storied settings.
The experience begins with pear and chestnut ice cream, followed by a selection of savouries combining delicately flavoured breads with carefully balanced fillings. Highlights include Paris ham and Gruyère on rye bread with pickled cucumber, mayonnaise and mustard seeds; lemon ricotta and pickled pear on walnut bread; smoked salmon on beetroot bread with horseradish cream and pickled onion; crab and pomelo with pomelo jelly; and chicken salad with pickled carrots on carrot bread.
