Inspired by the cuisines of Lebanon, Syria, Jordan and Palestine, The Levant is the latest dining addition to Centara Grand at CentralWorld. Located on the 24th floor, the restaurant offers a Levantine dining experience where generous shared plates, warm hospitality and regional flavours come together around the table.

Certified to halal standards, the menu showcases the distinctive flavours of the Levant through authentic recipes, quality ingredients and traditional cooking techniques. Served daily from 12.00 to 23.00 hrs., the experience begins with a generous selection of mezze, including creamy hummus, smoky babaganoush, mouttabal and muhammara with roasted peppers, walnuts and pomegranate molasses. Warm favourites such as falafel, sambousak, handcrafted kibbeh and warak enab filled with fragrant rice and herbs sit alongside the cold mezze, reflecting the region’s tradition of shared dining.

Fresh salads, including herb-filled tabbouleh, crisp fattoush and peppery watercress with lemon dressing, lead naturally to the charcoal grill, a hallmark of Levantine cooking. Lamb kofta, shish taouk, shish kebab and lamb chops are grilled alongside hammour (grouper) and giant prawns, showcasing the region’s emphasis on quality ingredients and time-honoured techniques. The mixed grill brings together a selection of the restaurant’s charcoal-grilled specialities, while chicken shawarma served with fragrant rice and garlic sauce is among the menu’s classic Levantine dishes. Traditional desserts including kunafa, baklava and silky muhallabia complete the meal.

The kitchen is led by Chef Mohannad Abdul Hadi Qasem, Arabic Sous Chef at Centara Grand at CentralWorld. With more than 20 years of experience spanning Syria, the United Arab Emirates, Brazil and Thailand, Chef Mohannad brings the flavours of his homeland to the menu, presenting Levantine cuisine shaped by classic recipes, culinary expertise and the generous spirit of the region’s shared dining culture.
