TripWorks, the business intelligence driven booking and automation platform for tours, activities, and attractions operators, today announced that it has appointed Tom Antosik as its new vice president of sales, and promoted Mara Kaufman to chief operating officer.

The appointments build on the momentum of TripWorks’ recent funding round, led by Spring Mountain Capital, as the company continues to expand its AI and business intelligence capabilities for tours, activities, and attractions operators worldwide.  Antosik and Kaufman both report directly to Aaron Fessler, TripWorks Founder and CEO.

In his new role, Antosik will lead TripWorks’ global sales organization, driving new business growth and deepening relationships with operators across tours, activities, and attractions.

Antosik joins TripWorks from Playground, where he served as its sales leader, scaling the team from a small founding pod into a multi-segment organization.  He brings 20 years of experience in sales roles in the tech and wellness industries.

“Mara and Tom’s roles are critical in building the commercial engine and operational backbone that position TripWorks for this next stage of growth,” said Aaron Fessler, TripWorks Founder and CEO. “As we scale our AI and business intelligence platform to more tour operators worldwide, having proven leaders driving our sales strategy and operations gives us the foundation to grow faster and smarter.  This reflects not just individual achievement, but the strength and ambition of the team we’re building.”

Kaufman, promoted from Executive Vice President of Operations to Chief Operations Officer, will oversee TripWorks’ operational strategy, including customer success, implementation, and support, as the company scales its platform and expands into new markets.

Kaufman has been with TripWorks since March 2024, since which she has been instrumental in the company’s rapid growth.  Before joining TripWorks, Kaufman spent more than six years at Doctor.com, in a range of senior customer-facing leadership roles.

“TripWorks is solving real problems for operators who have been underserved by legacy booking software for too long, and that’s what drew me to join the team,” said Antosik, TripWorks Vice President of Sales. “There’s tremendous demand for AI- and BI-powered tools that actually move the needle on revenue and efficiency.  My focus now is building a sales organization that can meet that demand at scale, both in the U.S. and in new markets globally.”

“Growth only works if the operational foundation can support it,” said Kaufman, TripWorks Chief Operating Officer. “My focus is making sure that as we bring on more operators and expand our platform, every part of the business, from onboarding to customer success, scales with the same quality and care we’ve had since day one.”

TripWorks currently powers thousands of daily bookings for operators worldwide across tours, adventure activities, attractions, entertainment venues, educational experiences, and more.  The company is fast developing its AI-driven pricing and revenue optimization tools, its global OTA and marketplace integrations, and its go-to-market and customer success teams, underscoring the growth trajectory these leadership roles are designed to support.

“This is just the beginning,” added Fessler. “With Tom and Mara in these roles, we have the right leadership in place to turn TripWorks’ momentum into sustained, category-defining growth.”
