Saudia, the national flag carrier of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, has been ranked the world’s most on-time airline for arrivals in July 2026, according to the latest monthly report from Cirium, the global aviation analytics provider. The airline recorded an on-time arrival rate of 87.24% after operating 16,406 flights during the month.

The ranking comes during the peak summer travel season, making it particularly significant as airlines worldwide manage higher flight volumes and increased operational complexity. Despite these demands, Saudia maintained the highest level of operational reliability among airlines globally.

The result reflects the coordinated efforts of teams across Saudia Group, supported by close collaboration with aviation partners and government entities operating at airports. It also highlights the role of advanced digital systems and artificial intelligence in supporting operational planning, decision making, and day-to-day operations, helping ensure a more reliable travel experience for guests.

H.E. Engr. Ibrahim Al-Omar, Director General of Saudia Group, said:

“Consistency at this level is only possible when every team across the organization is working toward the same goal. It reflects the capability of our national workforce and our continued investment in the technologies that strengthen our operations every day.”

He added: “Ranking first globally for the third time this year is an achievement we are proud of, but our focus extends beyond rankings. Our priority is to deliver a reliable travel experience every day for our guests while continuing to contribute to the objectives of the Saudi Aviation Strategy. We will continue strengthening our operations, investing in our people, and building on the standards that have enabled us to achieve this performance.”

The July ranking marks the third time that Saudia has ranked first globally for on-time performance, with all three rankings achieved during two of the year’s busiest operating periods, including Hajj and the peak summer travel season. Together, these rankings reflect the airline’s ability to maintain consistently high operational standards during periods of sustained demand.
