Cvent Accelerate Sydney 2026 will return on Tuesday, 11 August, with AI, event data and business growth firmly in the spotlight.
The free event will run from 11 am to 6 pm at Sofitel Sydney Wentworth. It marks the fifth year of the Sydney show and the first local edition since Cvent revealed its new brand in July.
AI has moved from shiny new toy to daily work tool. For event teams, the main question is no longer whether it belongs in the room. It is where it can save time, improve the guest experience and help prove a return.
Cvent Accelerate plans to answer that question without sinking the room in tech talk. Event planners, marketers, hoteliers and venue teams will gather for talks, panels, client stories, live demonstrations and networking.
The agenda will cover AI, Event-Led Growth, event results, venue links and new trends across the meetings trade. The focus will be on what works in real life — a welcome break from slides filled with clouds, arrows and bold claims.
Jack Ukil, Country Head, Australia, Cvent, said events now play a much wider role in business.
“Events are no longer just moments in time. They are a strategic engine for building relationships, accelerating growth and creating lasting business impact,” Ukil said.
He said AI could help teams work faster while making events more personal and engaging. The Sydney show will also bring event, hotel and marketing leaders together to study how people and smart tools can shape the next era of live events.
Guests can explore CventIQ™, Cvent’s built-in range of AI tools. The system can help with event planning, content creation, guest engagement, venue searches, and post-event reporting.
Cvent has also announced more than 70 product updates, including 34 new AI tools. The work is part of a planned US$1 billion spend on product growth over several years.
The timing is apt. Clients want better events, but they also want proof that the budget did more than pay for a pleasant lunch and a smart name badge.
That makes Cvent Accelerate Sydney more than a product show. It is a place to swap ideas, test the claims and learn where AI can help without pushing human skill off the stage.
Free registration is open through the official Cvent Accelerate Sydney website.
