Aurora Expeditions is welcoming young adventurers aboard its purpose-built expedition ships, giving more families the opportunity to explore the world’s most remote and remarkable places together.

Children aged six and over can now participate in Aurora Expeditions voyages, experiencing destinations where some of life’s most meaningful lessons are found beyond the walls of a traditional classroom.

Whether watching wildlife in its natural habitat, exploring a remote coastline by Zodiac, learning directly from local communities or listening to the insights of Aurora’s expert Expedition Team, expedition travel gives children the opportunity to experience the world first-hand.

“Some of life’s most meaningful lessons are learned when we step outside the classroom and experience the world for ourselves,” said Katie Malone, Chief Marketing Officer at Aurora Expeditions.

“A child may read about a whale, a glacier or a remote community in a textbook, but seeing and experiencing these places can create a much deeper sense of curiosity, understanding and responsibility.

“By bringing generations together through shared exploration, we hope to create lifelong family memories while inspiring young travellers to care for the extraordinary places, wildlife and cultures they encounter.”

Aurora’s purpose-built small ships provide an intimate environment in which families can explore together, supported by experienced Expedition Teams who bring each destination to life through immersive shore experiences, wildlife encounters and engaging onboard education.

To make expedition travel more accessible for families, Aurora is now offering children aged six to 15 inclusive savings of up to 50% off the Best Available Fare. *
