TPConnects, a leading provider of airline technology solutions, today announced a strategic partnership with Lufthansa Systems to integrate SIRAX/ONE Order into the Astra Nova platform. This integration complements Astra Nova’s existing Offer and Order management capabilities with comprehensive airline retailing finance, streamlining accounting, settlement, and reporting processes.
The partnership addresses the aviation industry’s critical need to transition from legacy revenue accounting systems to modern, order-based financial processes aligned with IATA ONE Order and Settlement with Orders (SwO) standards.
Within the Astra Nova ecosystem, SIRAX/ONE Order now covers airline retailing finance processes through three core pillars: Accounting down to service-level posting and financial interface transfer; Settlement covering agent, airline (interline/ancillaries) and any flight- or non-flight related retail partners, following IATA SwO or direct settlement with the SIRAX/Bilateral Settlement Manager, if the retail partner does not follow IATA standards; and Reporting via integrated visual dashboards with combined data insights.
This comprehensive approach eliminates data silos, reduces integration complexity, and accelerates time-to-value for airlines. Recognizing the complexity of airline retailing transformation, SIRAX/ONE Order on Astra Nova supports parallel processing of both legacy documents and ONE Order during the transition period, ensuring compatibility with existing Passenger Revenue Accounting systems.
“The partnership with Lufthansa Systems represents a significant milestone in our mission to deliver payments to suppliers based on verified service delivery, with near real-time reconciliation to ensure transparency and efficiency,” said Praveen Kumar, CTO at TPConnects. “By bringing Lufthansa Systems’ proven SIRAX/ONE Order capabilities to the Astra Nova platform, we’re empowering airlines to modernize their finance operations while maintaining business continuity. This integration provides our customers with a seamless journey from offer to settlement, eliminating complexity and unlocking substantial cost savings and revenue opportunities.”
“The aviation industry is at a critical inflection point in its transition to modern retailing standards,” added Sebastian Holfert, Senior Product Owner at Lufthansa Systems. “Our collaboration with TPConnects and the Astra Nova platform ensures airlines can navigate this transformation with confidence, benefiting from proven system integration and a modular solution approach with real-time and fully automated order accounting and settlement while gaining the agility and innovation of a unified retailing ecosystem.”
