Azamara Cruises has launched a new course to help travel advisors use RezA with more speed, skill and confidence.
Called “RezA – The Power Behind Confident Booking”, the online module is now part of Azamara World Academy. It is open to registered travel partners across the world.
RezA is Azamara’s global booking tool. It went live in late 2024 under the line’s “Listening, Learning, and Linking” plan. The new course shows advisors how to use the tool from the first cruise search to the last payment.
The lessons cover sailings, fares, new bookings, deposits and payments. They also explain group bookings, guest files and special service needs. It may sound like the nuts and bolts of the trade, and it is. Those nuts and bolts keep the sales engine moving.
The course also has a clear sales focus. Advisors can add transfers, hotel stays and land trips before or after a cruise. They can also book dining, drinks plans, Wi-Fi, spa visits and shore tours.
For guests, that can mean one clear plan and fewer loose ends. For advisors, it can mean a better booking and a higher total sale.
Azamara says RezA can spot the advisor tied to each booking. This gives the trade a clearer view of sales and helps cut errors. It can also send repeat guests back to their first advisor. That helps protect sales credit, service and long-term client ties.
“Travel advisors have always been an essential part of Azamara’s success, and investing in their growth remains one of our highest priorities,” said Dondra Ritzenthaler, Chief Executive Officer of Azamara Cruises.
The point could not be much clearer. Azamara does not see trade training as a side task. It sees it as part of the main job.
That makes good sense. Cruise guests often want far more than a cabin and a sail date. They may need hotels, transfers, tours and help with choices on board. A skilled advisor can join those parts without turning the booking into a jigsaw puzzle at sea.
The new RezA course gives advisors a sound guide to that work. Better use of the tool should mean quicker sales, fewer mistakes and more time to speak with clients.
