Wendy Wu Tours, has launched its new Japan, South Korea & Taiwan 2026-2028 brochure, introducing an expanded collection of Japan itineraries, new multi-country journeys and immersive regional experiences.

The launch comes as Australian travellers are increasingly looking beyond iconic hotspots, seeking deeper, more authentic experiences in lesser-known destinations across the region.

While traditional favourites such as Tokyo, Kyoto and Osaka continue to attract first-time visitors, demand is growing for more signature journeys that showcase Japan’s lesser-explored regions, seasonal experiences and local culture. In response, the new brochure features an expanded range of Go Beyond tours, designed for travellers looking to experience a different side of Japan.

New additions include Hidden Japan: Spirit of Kyushu, Northern Japan: Secrets of Hokkaido, and Japan Explorer, each taking travellers beyond the traditional tourist trail to discover regional landscapes, historic towns and authentic cultural experiences. The collection also introduces new Cruise & Tour holidays, including Japan & South Korea Explored and Wonders of Japan by Land & Sea, giving travellers even more ways to experience the destination.

Simon Bell, Managing Director from Wendy Wu Tours Australia, says, “Our latest brochure reflects the continued evolution of Japan as a destination for Australian travellers. While Japan has long been one of Australia’s favourite destinations, we’re seeing both first-time visitors and returning travellers become increasingly confident to venture beyond the country’s classic highlights and explore more of what Japan has to offer.”

“There’s a growing appetite to experience regional Japan, whether that’s exploring Hokkaido’s spectacular landscapes, discovering the cultural heritage of Kyushu or combining Japan with neighbouring destinations such as South Korea and Taiwan.”

The expanded collection reflects the way Australians are travelling today, with growing demand for longer, more immersive holidays that combine multiple destinations, venture beyond the major tourist hubs and embrace authentic travel experiences.

Alongside new itineraries, the brochure also introduces enhanced touring across existing favourites, additional solo departures on selected South Korea tours, and new Okinawa extensions. Travellers can also combine itineraries into longer journeys across North Asia, with select departures timed to coincide with Japan’s famous sumo tournaments.

To celebrate the launch, Wendy Wu Tours is offering Early Bird savings of up to $2,000pp alongside its Best Price Promise. If an Early Bird offer is booked and then later advertised on the Wendy Wu Tours website at a lower price before the final balance is due, it will be matched. T&Cs apply.

The new brochure further strengthens Wendy Wu Tours’ position as Australia’s #1 Japan Touring Specialist, offering one of the country’s most comprehensive collections of fully-inclusive, expertly-guided tours across Japan, alongside South Korea and Taiwan.
