European Travel Specialist Aurore Bertomeu, who has been heading up the Australian office of Unforgettable Croatia since 2024, is lapping up the sights and tastes of Montenegro on a famil.
Montenegro is a close neighbour of Croatia – Kotor is less than 100km from Dubrovnik – making it easy for Unforgettable Croatia guests to tick off both countries in one visit.
Aurore’s visit, with Unforgettable Croatia colleagues Marina Rogoznica and Jessica Isoni, has included a wine tasting at Savina Winery, a visit to island chapel Our Lady of the Rocks, a private guided tour of St. Nicholas Monastery complete with a hands-on gnocchi class, a stroll through Kotor Old Town, sunset over the Bay of Kotor, a trip up the cable car for panoramic views and a walk in Lovcen National Park.
Montenegro, along with Slovenia, is driving a rise in Unforgettable Croatia land and cruise packages, with guests – particularly long-haul travellers from Australia – increasingly book-ending their seven-day luxury small ship Unforgettable Croatia cruise with add-ons to neighbouring countries.
Unforgettable Croatia cruise and land packages booked by Australians are up 24 per cent year-on-year.
