Silversea, the leading experiential luxury and expedition travel brand, has unveiled its Voyage Collection 2028-2029, introducing the brand’s most extensive program of Mediterranean Expedition voyages, Silver Nova‘s inaugural season in Northern Europe, and a 60-day Grand Mediterranean Voyage aboard Silver Dawn, among other new additions. The collection comprises 278 voyages departing between March 2028 and March 2029, spanning 497 destinations in 71 countries, with more than 120 new or reintroduced ports of call across classic and expedition sailings. General sales open on July 9, 2026.

“Our new 2028-2029 Voyage Collection reflects what Silversea does best – taking guests beyond the expected, to destinations and cultural moments that reveal the world in ways they didn’t expect,” said Bert Hernandez, president, Silversea. “From Mediterranean Expedition voyages to an enhanced Antarctica Fly Cruise program and the 60-day Grand Mediterranean Voyage aboard Silver Dawn, this collection offers our guests a unique array of destination experiences, delivered in a way that only Silversea can.”

Named ‘Let the World Surprise You,’ the collection is built on a simple belief: the rarest luxury is still being surprised. Itineraries are timed to seasonal wonders, curated access to cultural events, and destinations few ships can reach. Many of the itineraries have been meticulously scheduled to coincide with seasonal events and cultural festivals – including the Monaco Grand Prix, Japan’s matsuri cultural festivals, grape harvest season across Europe’s Atlantic coast, and more – with sailings featuring longer port stays, late departures, and more than 50 overnight calls.

New features of the 2028-2029 collection include:

  • Mediterranean Expedition voyages with new itineraries aboard Silver Wind spanning the Adriatic, the Greek Isles, and Northern Africa.

  • An enhanced Antarctica Fly Cruise program, with the journey beginning in Patagonia at The Cormorant at 55 South – the southernmost hotel on Earth – before a private charter flight directly into Antarctica.

  • The Grand Mediterranean Voyage 2028 aboard Silver Dawn, a 60-day autumn sailing spanning 50 destinations across 13 countries, departing on September 23, 2028.

  • Silver Nova‘s first-ever season in Northern Europe, unlocking Norway’s Heritage Fjords alongside Silver Spirit.

  • Silver Spirit‘s maiden season in Canada and New England, with extended stays in Quebec City, Halifax, and Boston.

SILVERSEA’S MOST EXTENSIVE MEDITERRANEAN EXPEDITION VOYAGES

Silversea is introducing its most extensive program of Mediterranean Expedition voyages in the 2028-2029 collection, with journeys aboard Silver Wind. Highlights include the volcanic coastline of Milos – its white cliffs, sea caves, and turquoise waters best explored by Zodiac and kayak – alongside Amorgos and Folegandros in the Greek Isles; Algiers and Bejaia in Algeria; Pantelleria off the coast of Sicily; and a rare inland waterway experience cruising the Guadalquivir River to Sevilla. Shore activities include Zodiac excursions, guided hikes, and cultural encounters.

Silversea’s 2028-2029 expedition program will also cover the Arctic, Greenland, Antarctica, the British Isles, Polynesia, the Galápagos, and other remote regions, with each itinerary led by the brand’s leading Expedition Experts. Silver Endeavour will also introduce a Baltic expedition program, exploring Finland and Sweden.

ANTARCTICA: SURPRISE BEGINS WITH HOW YOU ARRIVE

Silversea’s pioneering Antarctica Fly Cruise program is further reimagined for 2028-2029, with the journey beginning in Patagonia with a stay at The Cormorant at 55 South – Silversea’s hotel in Puerto Williams, Chile, and the southernmost hotel on Earth – followed by a seamless private charter flight directly into Antarctica. A reimagined arrival that deepens anticipation and immersion from the very beginning, the program allows guests to skip the Drake Passage and arrive directly in King George Island. 41 Antarctica voyages are scheduled across three expedition ships – Silver Cloud, Silver Endeavour, and Silver Wind – including dedicated Christmas and New Year’s Eve departures.

EXCLUSIVE ACCESS TO THE WORLD’S MOST CAPTIVATING CULTURAL MOMENTS

The brand’s 2028 Classic Voyages are scheduled to coincide with significant cultural and seasonal moments across key regions. Silversea’s intimate ships call directly at small ports including Sète, Monopoli, and Saint-Tropez – city centers and boutique harbors that place guests at the heart of their destination – with extended stays and overnight calls giving guests more time ashore. The Mediterranean alone features a five-ship deployment – Silver Ray, Silver Nova, Silver Dawn, Silver Spirit, and Silver Shadow – taking in the region’s most iconic and boutique ports. Special events include:

  • THE MONACO GRAND PRIX: In 2028 and 2029, Silversea will take guests to one of the world’s most prestigious motorsport events to experience race week from Monaco’s iconic harbor, aboard Silver Ray.

  • MATSURI IN JAPAN: Silver Whisper will call at Japanese ports during the country’s celebrated 2028 festival season. Itineraries are timed to four of Japan’s most celebrated celebrations: the Kyoto Gion Matsuri, spanning the entire month of July; the Nebuta Festival in Aomori, renowned for its massive, illuminated paper floats and traditional music; and the Kochi Yosakoi Festival, alongside the Awa Odori in Tokushima, Japan’s largest traditional street dance festivals.

  • SCANDINAVIA’S MIDSUMMER FESTIVALS: Sailings through Northern Europe are timed to coincide with Scandinavia’s midsummer celebrations – among the region’s most deeply rooted cultural traditions, marked by outdoor gatherings, local music, and the phenomenon of the midnight sun.

  • HARVEST SEASON ACROSS EUROPE’S ATLANTIC COAST: Silver Nova will sail along the coasts of Spain, Portugal, and Northern France during grape harvest season, with S.A.L.T.-led shore experiences connecting guests to the region’s winemakers, producers, and culinary traditions.

SILVER NOVA AND SILVER RAY: EUROPE REIMAGINED THROUGH DESIGN AND IMMERSION

Silver Nova and Silver Ray will lead the brand’s Mediterranean and Northern Europe deployments in 2028-2029, with the season marking Silver Nova‘s first-ever season in Northern Europe. The voyages will unlock Norway’s Heritage Fjords – including the highly rated ports of Geiranger and Flåm – alongside Silver Spirit, as well as Baltic itineraries featuring Sweden and Finland. Silver Ray will operate the dedicated Monaco Grand Prix sailing, giving guests a front-row view of race week, as well as Eastern Mediterranean itineraries including the Adriatic and Greek Isles.

GRAND MEDITERRANEAN VOYAGE 2028

Silver Dawn will host the Grand Mediterranean Voyage 2028, an autumn sailing spanning more than 40 destinations across Greece, Croatia, Italy, the Adriatic, and the Iberian Peninsula. Ports of call include Istanbul, Dubrovnik, Amalfi, along with hidden gems such as Menton in France, Naxos in the Greek Isles, and Roses on the Catalan coast. Guests will also have access to exclusive curated events, including a private evening on Yiasemi Street in Athens, arranged exclusively for Silversea guests, and a Papal experience in Rome during an overnight call in October 2028.

DEEPER DISCOVERY, ON LAND AND AT THE TABLE

Silversea’s S.A.L.T. (Sea And Land Taste) program – the brand’s destination-driven culinary concept – features throughout the 2028-2029 collection, with new experiences launching in Japan and the Caribbean. Complementing these at-sea encounters, Land Programs by Silversea offer pre-, mid-, and post-cruise extensions across all voyages and fare types, designed as intimate small-group experiences by local experts. For 2028-2029, guests can experience a three-night stay rooted in Finland’s sauna culture, coastal landscapes, and food traditions, and a three-night private island resort stay in the Seychelles for those sailing from Mahé.
