Spread the love

As Koh Samui continues to strengthen its reputation as one of Thailand’s leading wellness destinations, Centara Reserve Samui joined the island-wide Samui Jump for Wellness 2026 programme, bringing together movement, nutrition, local culture, and community experiences in celebration of Global Wellness Day.

Organised in collaboration with the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), the Samui Spa Association, and wellness partners across the island, the three-day event highlighted a broader understanding of wellbeing – one that extends beyond fitness and spa treatments to include mindful gastronomy, cultural enrichment, meaningful connections, and immersion in nature.

A holistic lifestyle programme

Taken place from 12–14 June 2026 across three locations on Koh Samui, the programme invited residents, visitors, and in-house guests to participate in experiences designed to encourage healthier and more balanced lifestyles while celebrating the island’s unique wellness culture.

For Centara Reserve Samui, the event reflected an approach to wellbeing already present throughout the resort. At Reserve Spa Cenvaree, wellness is explored through personalised treatments and restorative rituals. At Sa-Nga, it can be found through ingredient-led cuisine rooted in Thai culinary traditions. Beyond these experiences, wellness exists in quieter moments; movement by the sea, mindful reflection, meaningful connections with nature and self and the simple luxury of slowing down.

A shared community experience

The final day of the programme took place at Centara Reserve Samui on Sunday 14 June 2026, transforming Chaweng Beach into a gathering point for the island’s wellness community.

Beginning from 16:00 hrs., guests were invited to explore a Wellness Market featuring local producers, restaurants, wellness practitioners, and community organisations from across Koh Samui.

Reserve Spa Cenvaree presented a dedicated wellness booth showcasing selected treatments, wellness retail products, and herbal tea blending experiences, while Sa-Nga offered guests the opportunity to experience its signature Khao Yum paired with refreshing botanical mocktails inspired by local herbs, fruits, and Southern Thai flavours.

As the afternoon progressed, guests participated in yoga by the beach and other wellness-focused activities before joining Jump Dance by DJ Wellness and Aqua Aerobics in the sea at 18:00 hrs.

Adding a playful element to the programme, a floating inflatable structure was installed offshore, inviting guests to jump into the ocean and enjoy movement-based activities in a relaxed and informal setting.

Positioning Koh Samui as a compelling wellness destination

The wider Samui Jump for Wellness programme began on 12 June at Royal Muang Samui Villas, Choeng Mon Beach, featuring a Wellness Market, official opening ceremony, sound healing session by Ms. Kirana Sripongphankul, and Jump Dance with Aqua Aerobics in the sea.

Activities continued on 13 June at Hug Samui, Bang Por Beach, where guests enjoyed local community experiences, cooking demonstrations, local food vendors, Muay Thai by the Sea by VWin Gym, and further wellness activities.

By bringing together hospitality businesses, wellness practitioners, local communities, and visitors, Samui Jump for Wellness 2026 showcased the diverse experiences that continue to position Koh Samui as one of Asia’s most compelling wellness destinations.
