America will turn 250 in July, and Beau Rivage will join the celebration with a variety of patriotic events, menus, and giveaways.

This summer, Beau Rivage is giving away red, white, and blue Corvettes as grand prizes in the Corvette Summer Giveaway Series. Guests can earn a drawing entry for every 100 MGM Rewards points earned from gaming activity. Drawings will be held July 26 and August 29.

Celebrate America’s 250th birthday on July 8 with a patriotic celebration honoring the instrumental role “Rosie the Riveter” played in the war effort at home and abroad. Rosie the Riveter was a nickname for the more than six million women who entered the workforce to support America during World War II. An original “Rosie” and Congressional Gold Medal honoree, 101-year-old Delphine Tedeski-Klaput, will share her inspiring story and participate in a Q&A session. This free community event will take place at 1:30 p.m. in LUX Lounge | MGM Golf.

Starting July 1, The Buffet at Beau Rivage’s Global Cuisine Menu will feature All-American favorites for the month to celebrate the nation’s birthday. In addition to the regular items on The Buffet, Chef Abby Chase will feature favorites such as loaded potato salad, pulled pork, bourbon-glazed grilled pork chops, grilled chicken wings and beer-braised brats with onions. And for dessert? Chocolate peanut butter pie.

On July 5-6, celebrate the spirit of freedom with a chance to win a share of $75,000 in Freeplay in the Star-Spangled Spinoff Slot Tournament. EIGHT75, Beau Rivage’s ultra-cool venue for pre- or post-dinner drinks and nightly free entertainment, will soon have a new vibe following a multi-million dollar renovation.

When EIGHT75 re-opens, live music will play from 7 p.m. to 12 a.m. Sunday through Thursday, and 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Friday and Saturday.

BetMGM Book Bar & Grill is hosting live entertainment during the EIGHT75 renovation. It is in the southwest corner of the casino floor, next to Snacks.

The Beau Rivage pool is open for business with extended summer hours.

Located on the second floor of the resort, the Beau Rivage pool is open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. daily, weather permitting, giving guests an inviting place to enjoy the South Mississippi sunshine with a refreshing dip just steps away.

The pool bar is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. The pool café is open daily, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

This summer, local MGM Rewards players can enjoy pool access with any gazebo, cabana, or lounger rental; no hotel stay is required.

The Buffet at Beau Rivage celebrates tastes from around the world all year with featured dishes that highlight a different country each month.

Called Global Cuisine, The Buffet culinary team is creating dishes that will transport diners to the featured country. Each month, nine dishes — including a dessert — will be added to the more than 200 items normally found on The Buffet. The Global Cuisine items will be served at lunch and dinner daily.

The tour wouldn’t be complete without a stop in the U.S. for July. Chef Abby Chase is featuring American favorites such as loaded potato salad; pulled pork; bourbon glazed grilled pork chops; grilled chicken wings; beer brats and onions and chocolate peanut butter pie to help celebrate the country’s 250th birthday.

August goes South American with empanadas; Brazilian fish stew; Peruvian chopped salad; lomo saltado; choripan, an Argentine sandwich; fritada; cheese and bean pupusas; salchipapas and cinnamon flan.

September offers a taste of Italy with gnocci al forno; eggplant rollatini; chicken piccata; Italian ceci salad; pork scarpariello; orecchiette with sausage and rapini; house made meatballs; cannoli and tiramisu shots.

The Buffet is open 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Sunday and from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday through Tuesday. The Buffet is closed for dinner Wednesday and Thursday.

Just in time for summer, BR Prime has enhanced its dining experience with seasonal ingredients and signature dishes on the menu that will have diners eager to try.

Executive Chef Nicholas Wright-Bodine revamped the starters, introduced new salads and signature entrées, and added chilled seafood fare to tempt every palate.

“We have the opportunity to use some of the best ingredients in the world, which is rare, and it’s an honor to be able to prepare them for the guests who choose us to feed them,” said Chef Nicholas. “We are excited to introduce some new concepts at BR Prime that focus on innovation and creativity while maintaining the classic elegance and decadence of a world-class steakhouse.”

Starting with the appetizers, Chef Nicholas changed up the scallops to domestic caught with pepper, brown butter, and Meyer lemon. Crispy pork belly is added, along with bone marrow, steak tartare, and Hen of the Woods mushrooms, with a truffle yogurt sauce, smoked tableside. The popular blue crab cake remains on the menu as well.

Lightened up for summer, the chowder is now a corn and shaved summer truffle fare, along with lobster bisque and French onion.

Salads include the Caesar and beet salads, and BR Prime has added a Baby Gem Salad with candied bacon, pickled onion, cheddar cheese, and a peppercorn range, as well as a beefsteak tomato house salad with ricotta, olive oil, and Thai basil tomato vinegar.

Three items have been added to the chilled seafood. In addition to the tuna tartare, half dozen oysters, grand seafood tower, and the BR Prime shrimp cocktail, Chef Nicholas has added poached lobster carpaccio, shrimp salad, and a caviar service with traditional garnishes.

In addition to BR Prime’s steaks and chops, as well as the 40-day bone-in dry-aged beef that is still on the menu, Chef Nicholas offers a signature entrée of pistachio-crusted Mayura Station Wagyu brisket, which is cured and then cooked in smoked beef tallow before being pressed and crusted, yielding a brisket that is tender and juicy while still maintaining just the right amount of chew.

Also new on the menu are a Double-Cut Iberico pork chop and Mishima Reserve Wagyu Hanger Steak with a black truffle bearnaise. A decadent Seared Foie Gras and a Black Truffle Butter have been included in the add-ons to the steaks.

New, thoughtful presentations of sides include smoked carrots and Chef Nicholas has added his flair to the Brussels sprouts and onion rings on the menu.

BR Prime is open Tuesday through Thursday, from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. and Friday and Saturday from 4:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Reservations can be made online at BR Prime.

The Roasted Bean, Beau Rivage’s signature coffee bistro, offers a full range of coffee drinks as well as sweets and sandwiches for a quick bite or just to relax and unwind.

The Roasted Bean’s coffee is roasted on site for the freshest coffee around and has bags available for purchase in the bistro. In addition to sandwiches, burgers, paninis, salads and pastries, The Roasted Bean offers featured drinks, a featured cookie and its irresistible pound cake.

In July, try a strawberry coconut Redbull spritzer or a chocolate malt shake. If you’ve got the urge for a sweet treat, try the Biscoff cookie that’s featured this month, or the iced strawberry pound cake, sold by the slice or whole.

The Roasted Bean, located on the retail promenade across from MGM Golf and LUX Lounge, is open 5 a.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

The Daiquiri Shop, located in the retail promenade across from The Roasted Bean, offers cool beverages, a wide selection of Grab & Go menu items and a menu of Mexican-inspired cuisine including empanadas, nachos and sandwiches.

The Daiquiri Shop is open Thursday – Sunday from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. In addition, The Daiquiri Shop will have extended hours of 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. on July 4 and 5 with crawfish tacos and crawfish nachos on special.

SNACKS

Snacks offers sandwiches, salads, wraps, pizza and to-go items like sushi, cookies, chips and more.

In July, Snacks is featuring a Turkey Grinder sub sandwich.

Snacks is located on the casino floor near BetMGM Sportsbook and is open daily 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. with a late-night menu from 11 p.m. to 5 a.m.
