Room-Res, a leading B2B travel booking platform, today announced the appointment of Peter Jones as its new Chief Commercial Officer (CCO). Jones, formerly Regional Vice President for Asia Pacific with Bedsonline, part of HBX Group, will officially step into his new role on 25th June 2026.
Jones joins Room-Res following a highly successful period with Bedsonline, where he spearheaded commercial strategy and expanded the company’s footprint across major regional markets. In his new role as CCO at Room-Res, Jones will oversee Room-Res’ commercial account management team, drive strategic partnerships, and accelerate the platform’s regional market expansion.

As part of the expansion of the senior management team, Room-Res is also excited to announce that Kellie Smith has been appointed to the new role of Global Head of Supply and Industry Partnerships. Kellie will be responsible for building, expanding and optimising Room-Res’ hotel and third-party supply relationships. In addition, Kellie will continue to lead Room-Res’ relationships with the trade, as well as the exciting and successful partnerships she has already developed with tourism boards, representation companies, and other complementary industry partners.
