Chimu Adventures is excited to announce the launch of three new expedition cruises, designed to showcase lesser-visited western coast of South America to curious travellers.
Guests will cruise on the Discoverer, a popular expedition vessel taking only 140 guests. Each cruise will have a strong focus on history, wildlife, and culture, visiting not just popular South American destinations including Patagonia, Peru, and the Panama Canal, but also lesser-known national parks, conservation research areas, and Indigenous coastal communities.
Launching in March 2027, travellers can select from three curated expedition cruises through the diverse and rugged coastlines of South America:
- Chile & Peru: Journey Through the Humboldt Current. 10 days, departing March 28, 2027. From $6,695 AUD
- South American Explorer: Temples, Jungles & the Panama Canal. 10 days, departing April 6, 2027. From $6,695 AUD
- Deep Patagonia: Tierra del Fuego & the Chilean Fjords. 15 days, departing March 14, 2027. From $9,965 AUD
To celebrate the launch, each new sailing is now up to 30% off through June 30, 2026. New land package add-ons are also available for travellers who want to extend their time in South America, making it easy to combine the cruise with visits to iconic landmarks like Machu Picchu and the Nazca Lines.
As Polar and Latin American specialists, the team at Chimu Adventures can not only help travellers find the perfect South American holiday, but can also look after international flights, airport transfers, and travel insurance, creating a seamless and stress-free experience for Chimu guests.
