AAT Kings and the South Australian Tourism Commission (SATC) have announced Kimberley Thomas from Helloworld Travel Port Macquarie as the winner of their recent Learn & Win incentive, recognising her commitment to growing knowledge and sales of South Australian touring experiences.
The incentive challenged travel advisors to successfully complete the SATC South Australia Experts training programme while also selling AAT Kings’ South Australian touring product. Kimberley emerged as the top performer, securing an AAT Kings South Australian Outback Adventure for herself and a travel companion.
The prize includes AAT Kings’ eight-day South Australian Outback Adventure Small Group tour, showcasing some of the state’s most remarkable landscapes and experiences, from the Flinders Ranges and Outback towns to iconic natural attractions and local stories. The team were able to award her the prize in-person last week when AAT Kings visited Helloworld Travel Port Macquarie during its national trade roadtrip across New South Wales and Queensland.
Ben Hall, CEO of AAT Kings Group, said the incentive was designed to reward advisors who invest in destination knowledge and go the extra mile for their clients.
“Travel advisors play a critical role in inspiring travellers and helping them discover destinations they may never have considered otherwise,” said Hall.
“Kimberley’s enthusiasm for learning, combined with her support of AAT Kings’ South Australian product, made her a deserving winner. We’re delighted to be able to reward her with the opportunity to experience South Australia firsthand and deepen her knowledge of the destination.
“We’d also like to thank the South Australian Tourism Commission for their partnership on this initiative. Working together to educate and inspire the trade ultimately helps create better outcomes for travellers and our industry.”
Emma Terry, CEO of the South Australian Tourism Commission, said partnerships like this are key to driving strong sales through trade. “By working closely with AAT Kings, we’re showcasing South Australia’s simple pleasures in a way that inspires more advisors to learn about our state and influence their clients’ itineraries.”
“I have no doubt Kimberley will leave our breathtaking Flinders Ranges and Outback with a deep connection with the people and places she encounters and go on to be a passionate advocate for the tourism region and South Australia.”
The incentive forms part of AAT Kings’ ongoing commitment to supporting and rewarding its valued trade partners through education, training and exclusive reward opportunities.
With just seven weeks remaining in the qualification period, AAT Kings is also reminding advisors that there is still time to secure a place on the 2026 A-LISTERS ON LOCATION Top Achievers Tour. This year’s exclusive reward experience will see top-performing agents from around the globe travel through the Northern Territory’s Top End and Western Australia’s Kimberley in September, experiencing some of Australia’s most iconic landscapes and touring experiences firsthand.
