Serko – a leader in online travel for business – has today launched its new product Serko.ai in beta. The offering gives business travelers early access to a new kind of AI-powered travel assistant, and is designed to remove the friction from work trips. Serko.ai is now open for exclusive and early access to select US-based frequent business travelers, with beta participants also getting the bonus of free cancellation* on any trips booked.
Unlike other offerings that bolt-on AI to legacy systems, Serko has built Serko.ai from the ground up to transform how people travel for work. Informed by two decades of proprietary data and millions of real-world bookings, Serko.ai manages the entire trip from search, through to booking and beyond. Instead of asking travelers to compare hundreds of flight and hotel options, interpret policy rules, remember loyalty preferences, manage changes, and chase receipts, the product understands the trip intent, surfaces the best options and takes action on the travelers behalf.
First users in the beta trial will have the opportunity to influence the Serko.ai experience and provide feedback ahead of a phased roll out later this year. In return, Serko is offering stress-free cancellation* to participants, including free cancellation and full refunds on any airfare (including non-refundable) up to three hours before a flight, and hotel rates (including prepaid) up until hotel check-in. This means travelers and the companies they work for can book with confidence, take advantage of the best available rates, and avoid the hassle of managing unused tickets or lost value when plans change.
“The beta launch marks an important milestone in Serko’s vision to create a truly connected, frictionless travel experience,” says David Holyoke, Senior Vice President of Product at Serko. “For most people, booking business travel is still a burden. There is too much ambiguity around what is and isn’t allowed, multiple tools to navigate, constant changes to manage, and the work of reconciling it all when the trip is over. Serko.ai changes that – equipping travellers with an intelligent assistant that brings everything together for them in one place.”
“Early access gives frequent travelers the opportunity to work directly with us to refine the experience. If business travel has ever felt more complicated than it should, this is your chance to help shape something fundamentally better,” said Holyoke.
US-based frequent travelers who are interested in the opportunity to influence the future of corporate travel can sign up for exclusive access to the closed beta trial at Serko.ai.
