The Chennai Bulls Selects team forms part of the franchise’s long-term development pathway, providing emerging and aspiring Indian players and international prospects with opportunities to compete in high-level tournaments and gain international experience. Through this programme, the franchise aims to broaden access to the sport and create pathways for talented young players who might not otherwise have the opportunity to pursue the sport at this level.
Building on the strategic collaboration first announced in 2025, the expanded partnership underscores Priority Pass’ commitment to supporting athlete wellbeing across international sport, while aligning with the Chennai Bulls’ vision of strengthening team capability and nurturing emerging talent as part of its broader efforts to grow rugby in India.
“As rugby continues to establish itself as a premier sport in India, we are proud to support the Chennai Bulls in their wider ambition to create more avenues for progression for young players across the country, helping to open doors for emerging and aspiring talent who may otherwise not have direct access and opportunities to develop in the sport,” said Todd Handcock, Global Chief Commercial Officer and Asia Pacific Executive Chair at Collinson International. “We are delighted to expand our partnership to provide the Chennai Bulls Selects team with access to Priority Pass airport lounges and travel experiences in Hong Kong as they participate in the HKFC10s, helping them rest better, arrive refreshed and perform at their best. We look forward to deepening our partnership with Chennai Bulls and continuing our support as they build a stronger and more inclusive rugby ecosystem in India.”
Commenting on the partnership, world record-breaking rugby sevens captain and Chennai Bulls head coach, Ben Gollings, added, “Bringing the Chennai Bulls Selects team to compete in Hong Kong is a proud moment for everyone involved in the franchise. These tournaments represent an important platform for our players to test themselves against top international talent. The continued support from Priority Pass will enhance the travel experience for our teams, giving players a place to relax and recharge so they are ready to deliver their best performance. It also strengthens our ambition to build winning teams and create meaningful opportunities for younger generations in India to grow through sport.”
Priority Pass supports athletes and sporting organisations around the world. In addition to having welcomed Filipino elite motorsport driver Bianca Bustamante as a brand advocate in Asia Pacific, Priority Pass partners with the Professional Tennis Players Association (PTPA) and the Women’s National Basketball Players Association (WNBPA), providing athletes with comfort and convenience as they travel internationally. The Collinson Group is a proud founding partner of Coach Core, a UK-based charity focused on empowering young people through sports.
