Tiny home accommodation company Tiny Away has unveiled its first-ever artist-in-residence experience, inviting travellers to reconnect with nature, and their creativity, in the heart of Queensland’s Granite Belt.
Launching this May at Tiny Away Escape at Granite Belt, the limited-time experience features Melbourne-based ceramicist and designer Phoebe Li (@objectsbyphoebe). Designed as a slow, hands-on creative retreat, guests will be guided through an experience shaped by the surrounding landscape from initial inspiration to finished piece. The experience includes:
- A guided walk around the property to gather natural inspiration
- A two-hour pottery workshop
- A bespoke ceramic piece, fired post-session and delivered to participants
Perfectly timed for autumn getaways and Mother’s Day gifting, the experience invites travellers to unplug, slow down, and create something truly memorable.
Jeff Yeo, Co-Founder of Tiny Away, said: “This is an exciting moment for us as we introduce our first artist-in-experience at Tiny Away. Bringing an artist into our spaces allows guests to engage with a destination in a completely different way, creating something personal and lasting from their stay. This is just the beginning, and we’re looking forward to rolling out more artist-led experiences across our Escape locations in the future.”
