Cucina and luxury home and personal care brand Rituals have joined forces to create the enchanting Sakura Romance afternoon tea, available from 6 February to 31 March 2026. Inspired by the Dutch brand’s The Ritual of Sakura and The Ritual of Yozakura collections, this exquisite collaboration invites guests to indulge in 11 meticulously crafted pink and purple delights alongside stunning views of Victoria Harbour to celebrate the season of love.
Inspired by Rituals’ iconic The Ritual of Sakura and The Ritual of Yozakura collections, the Sakura Romance afternoon tea embodies the beauty of renewal and serenity. The Sakura collection features cherry blossoms and rice milk extract while the Yozakura series, which boasts a deep floral and amber fragrance, contains Yoshino cherry and black rice extract.
Crafted by Cucina’s Chef de Cuisine Andrea Delzanno, this afternoon tea experience includes 11 pink and purple creations made with cherry blossoms and black rice. Highlights among the five savoury offerings are the duck liver terrine with sakura jelly and the black rice arancini stuffed with crab meat, which offers an umami Japanese twist on an Italian classic. To enhance the flavours, beetroot purée can be added to the savoury creations for vibrancy and earthy sweetness. The set also features six indulgent sweet creations, such as the fluffy and floral sakura cake roll and the beautiful and velvety rose cheesecake. For a refreshing finish, the black rice pudding with mango combines a chewy texture with the sweetness of ripe mango.
