Lisboeta Macau and Regency Art Hotel jointly organize the volunteer team members to visit the Environmental Fun Station of Environmental Protection Bureau of the Macao SAR Government (“DSPA”) on January 29 to demonstrate the commitment to environmental protection and social sustainability, aims to enhance understanding of Macao’s environmental policies and underscore the importance of sustainability through a variety of engaging activities.
The volunteer team members learn a deeper understanding of China and Macao’s “dual carbon” goals and strategy, as well as the series of initiatives introduced by the “DSPA” to promote low-carbon living, resource recycling, and the development of a greener city. Through interactive sessions, team members also be inspired by how sustainability supports the long-term health of society and the economy, and futher encouraged to take responsibility for environmental protection by reducing waste and carbon emissions in daily life.
Throughout the years, Lisboeta Macau has remained committed to environmental protection and sustainable development by further promoting a green lifestyle and encouraging the public to choose electric vehicle as an option through the launch of Macao’s first one-stop H853 EV Hub, offering electric vehicle service and an experience spot. Meanwhile, Lisboeta Macau and Rengecy Art Hotel have consistently supported the DSPA’s World Environment Day initiatives by taking concrete actions to build a greener Macao to support China and Macao’s dual carbon goals and strategy, and to work together toward a sustainable future for the city.
