The Visit Saudi Travel Fair 2025 concluded with resounding success at Gandaria City Mall, drawing close to 18.000 visitors over five days from 12–16 November 2025. Organised by the Saudi Tourism Authority (STA), the event invited Indonesians to “Discover the Soul of Arabia”, bringing Saudi’s vibrant culture, hospitality, and travel experiences to life and deepening its connection with one of its most important markets.
This year’s edition saw stronger attendance and higher engagement than before, with visitors drawn to the 18 exhibitors from travel and trade partners, exclusive travel offers, on-site visa support from Tasheer, and immersive cultural showcases that transformed the mall into a celebration of Saudi’s heritage and modern energy.
Among the highlights were the Ardah performance, which drew large crowds for its powerful drumming and rhythmic dance; Arabic calligraphy and oud music session, which offered hands-on cultural immersion; and the Saudi coffee and dates experience, a favourite among visitors for its warmth and authenticity.
The fair also generated strong commercial interest, with participating partners reporting a surge in travel inquiries and package bookings to destinations such as AlUla, Jeddah, and Riyadh. Promotions from Saudi Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, and BSI further boosted bookings, reflecting growing enthusiasm among Indonesian travellers to explore beyond the tradition Umrah journey.
Saudi’s UNREAL Calendar also captured strong interest among visitors, showcasing a year-round lineup of world-class, global sporting, cultural, and entertainment events, including the Formula 1 STC Saudi Arabia Grand Prix, WTA Finals in Riyadh, and MDLBEAST Soundstorm music festival. With direct flights from nine major Indonesian cities — Jakarta, Solo, Surabaya, Medan, Palembang, Bali, Makassar, Padang, and Batam operated by Saudia Airlines, Garuda Indonesia, and Lion Air — and simplified eVisa and Visa on Arrival options, travel between the two nations continues to expand and visiting Saudi has never been more convenient.
