Ground Bangkok presents “La Forêt de l’Âme” or “The Forest of The Soul”, a solo exhibition by Thai-Japanese artist MIYABI, exploring the subtle space between the natural world and the inner self.

Through works centred on fauna, spirituality, and the human psyche, the exhibition invites viewers into a symbolic forest — one that lives internally, shaped by sensation more than sight. But it also gestures outward, toward real forests and fragile ecosystems that are increasingly under threat — reminding us that what fades in the world around us often mirrors what we neglect within.Thai-Japanese artist MIYABI

The exhibition features paintings, ceramics, and mixed-media works rooted in Miyabi’s lifelong connection to nature — particularly to birds, which appear throughout the show as both symbols and silent guides. Her practice has long aligned with animal conservation, but rather than presenting overt commentary, she leans into subtler, slower forms of storytelling. Personal memories, spiritual messages, and emotional details are layered into each piece, inviting viewers to linger and interpret.

In an era of ecological urgency, “La Forêt de l’Âme” offers a quieter but deeply felt reflection on what we risk losing — not just in the natural world, but within ourselves.

More than an exhibition, it’s a quiet sanctuary — where what is vanishing and overlooked, in nature and in us, refuses to go unnoticed.
