Spread the love

TravelManagers - LogoIn a bold stride toward redefining the cruise holiday experience, TravelManagers Australia has unveiled a powerful customer-facing cruise platform that seamlessly blends technology with the personal touch of its expert Personal Travel Managers (PTMs). This latest digital innovation enhances the booking journey for cruise-loving Australians and marks a pivotal advancement in the company’s growing cruise strategy.

The game-changing tool is designed to complement Fastbook, TravelManagers’ proprietary cruise wholesaler system launched in late 2023. This system provides real-time, 24/7 inventory access to PTMs and integrates directly with the group’s back-office systems. Now, with the introduction of a sleek, client-facing cruise search platform, each PTM can offer an immersive, self-guided online experience through its own branded website.

“Fastbook gave our PTMs the wholesale capabilities they needed—live availability, seamless integration, and simplicity,” said Lia Malone, TravelManagers’ Cruise Product Manager. “This new front-end platform is the natural extension of that. Now our PTMs can bring their clients into the journey from the very start, empowering them to browse and get inspired before making decisions with professional guidance.”

For many travellers, particularly in the cruise segment, the planning process is as exciting as the voyage. PTMs like Ange Bowerman of Dromedary, Tasmania, say the new platform has transformed how clients interact with cruise options.

“Cruising is about the experience—from researching itineraries to the moment you step on board,” Bowerman explained. “Now my clients can search by region, cruise line, or departure date, directly on my website. And if I find something special, I can send a recommendation through the platform with a single click. It keeps everything personal while giving clients more autonomy.”

This dual functionality—empowering clients while preserving the expertise and care of a PTM—ensures that the traditional values of tailored service are upheld and enhanced through innovation.

Currently, the platform supports live inventory and dynamic content from 32 leading cruise lines, with an ever-expanding library of ocean cruises, expedition voyages, and cruise tours already available. TravelManagers is also preparing to roll out river cruise options, cementing the tool’s place as a one-stop cruise concierge.

“Our goal is to ensure that every TravelManagers client has the smoothest, most informed cruise planning experience possible,” Malone added. “With our in-house tools and expert PTMs, we’re creating a cruise ecosystem that’s unmatched in the Australian market.”

This strategic leap positions TravelManagers at the forefront of cruise retailing and underscores the brand’s commitment to empowering its network of over 600 PTMs with world-class tools that blend tradition with modern convenience.
