Helloworld Travel’s Air Tickets is pleased to confirm Qatar Airways NDC connection is now live.
Air Tickets travel agent customers now have access to NDC content from Qatar Airways (QR), including the Air Tickets ‘Shop, Book and Ticket’ functionality, giving agents access to a greater range of booking classes and lower SmartNDC® fares.
Qatar Airways NDC provides greater value fares in both Economy and Business Class compared to traditional EDIFACT fares, making fares via the NDC the best value QR fares in the market.
The process is simple and there is no requirement for agents to register with Qatar Airways directly as Air Tickets is authorised to issue tickets for all agents, with no additional onboarding required with QR.
To utilise the shop and book QR NDC content via SmartFares®, agencies need to have completed their SmartFares® Shopping and Booking Registration. Clue cards for registration by GDS can be found via Air Tickets www.airtickets.com.au
The connection is available to Travelport, Sabre and Amadeus users now.
Agents who use Travelport do not need to complete any additional registration or onboarding processes, QR NDC content is available in your GDS now. Agents who use Sabre will just need to ensure that they have ‘ordered’ QR NDC from their Sabre Central Marketplace. Agents who use Amadeus do not need to complete any additional registration or onboarding processes, as QR is deemed as ‘open by default’ so the QR NDC content is available now.
