Helloworld Travel’s Air Tickets has become the first ticketing consolidator in Australia to offer a direct NDC API connection with Emirates.
The Emirates direct API connection will deliver differentiated content benefits to Air Tickets travel agent customers.
The initial phase is now underway with a pilot group of agencies, and progressively the Emirates NDC fares will then be available to all Air Tickets customers.
Using Air Tickets ‘Shop, Book and Ticket’ functionality, agents will be able to access a greater range of booking classes and lower SmartNDC® fares.
Further functionality such as seat maps and seat selection, will progressively be added post the pilot, providing further benefits for Air Tickets customers.
Rohan Moss, Group General Manager – Consolidation said that the new API has been developed entirely in-house by the Air Tickets business systems development team and provides the best value fares, ticketing, re-shopping, SmartRefunds® (NTIA 2024 Winner in Technology Innovation category) and provision of queues, all within the Air Tickets portal.
