Izu Granpal Park Illumination

The Izu Granpal Park Illumination, known as “Izu Kogen Grand Illumination,” offers an immersive, experience-based light show from early November into the new year. Visitors can zip through the glowing displays on the thrilling 400m zipline or race through illuminated dinosaur zones on the “Dino Age Kart.” The park also features Japan’s first interactive illumination show, allowing guests to “walk on the illumination” and explore magical, glowing pathways, making it an unforgettable adventure for families.
Shuzenji Niji no Sato Autumn Light Up

Renowned for its stunning Momiji (red foliage of the Japanese Maples), Shizuoka’s Shuzenji Niji no Sato becomes even more enchanting during its annual autumn illumination event that lights up the vibrant leaves. Now in its 20th year, the event showcases approximately 2,000 Japanese maples, their stunning red foliage is illuminated to create a breathtaking nighttime display. Fuji Bishamonten Festival
4th – 6th February 2025
Held at Myohoji Temple at the foot of Mount Fuji, the Fuji Bishamonten Festival is one of Japan’s largest Daruma doll markets. Next year, the festival takes place in early February alongside the Lunar New Year, showcasing a variety of Daruma dolls that are regarded as symbols of good luck in Japanese culture. Visitors can explore numerous stalls, including those specializing in Daruma dolls, and can select their own lucky charm.
