Thompson Central Park New York and Nordstrom NYC introduce today a new bespoke shopping experience for hotel guests with the launch of “Sole Selection.” Inspired by New Yorkers’ fast paced lifestyle on foot, guests can now shop a seasonal collection of on-trend footwear, personally selected by Nordstrom NYC stylists for their comfortability while walking the avenues, parks and cobblestones of the city. The Upper Stories Lounge is home to the Sole Selection shopping experience, providing Upper Stories guests with exclusive access to shop. Upper Stories, Thompson Central Park’s collection of luxurious guest rooms and suites, are located on the hotel’s highest floors and offer upgraded in-room amenities, personalized programming and access to the exclusive Upper Stories Lounge.
This fall season’s Sole Selection picks are artfully showcased against a lush wall of greenery, and sizes of each style are available to browse via a unique QR code facilitated by Nordstrom, bringing a taste of the Nordstrom NYC signature shoe department to Thompson Central Park. Hotel guests are invited to pick up their selection in-store or have it quickly hand-delivered directly to their hotel room. Guests do not need to worry about fitting their new footwear in their luggage, as the hotel offers complimentary shipping within the U.S. for styles purchased through Sole Selection.

The Nordstrom NYC Flagship is just two blocks from the hotel on West 57th Street. Since the introduction of Upper Stories, Thompson Central Park has partnered with Nordstrom to provide Upper Stories guests with exclusive amenities such as a direct line to Nordstrom NYC Ambassadors, in-room shopping experiences with a personal stylist and same day pickup. The Sole Selection shopping experience builds on this partnership and is available now for guests of Upper Stories.
