The “Zipcity Macau” VR immersive experience at Lisboeta Macau, developed by the Faculty of Arts and Humanities at the University of Saint Joseph Macau, will launch the realms with “Volcano Flight”, where guests soar directly over surging lava plumes, and “Jungle Trek”, a high-speed flight through dense tropical canopies, in high-quality 360° videos rendered in unreal engine and experienced through premium VR headsets, the visuals are seamlessly synchronized with the 388-meter zipline’s speed and motion, perfectly matching with each ride to experience the thrill of urban zipline while advanced VR technology instantly transports into different worlds, creating a unique adventure that immerses in a multi-sensory journey with more mystery realms set to be revealed soon. The collaboration between Lisboeta Macau and the University of Saint Joseph Macau marks a breakthrough in technology and advances cross-border integration of “Tourism + Sports + Culture”, to reinforces Macao’s vision of sustainable growth while injecting fresh momentum into the vision of building a “Smart City”, in order to underscore Macao’s innovative achievements by the integration of digital technology with cultural tourism.
As the Macao’s first motion-synchronized VR zipline, combines real physics and speed with ultra-high-definition visuals, surround sound, and interactive motion design, delivering a flying sensation that feels both premium and highly shareable. Families can dress in role-play costumes and join their children as adventure characters, adding a joyful and interactive touch to the journey, and transforming the zipline ride into a fun and memorable experience for the whole family.
