Accor, the largest hotel operator in the Pacific, brought together 30 general managers and senior leaders in Melbourne on 15 October to participate in the STRYDE4 Corporate Challenge, raising $14,282 for its charity partner, DV Collective.
The team tackled an eight-kilometre course through Melbourne’s sporting precincts and Botanic Gardens, featuring 15 interactive challenges designed to encourage teamwork, resilience and connection. From ice baths and sporting activities to a silent disco, the event combined physical and mental challenges while raising funds to support the work of DV Collective in addressing domestic and family violence.
“Looking after our people and giving back to our communities are incredibly important to us at Accor. We believe hospitality goes beyond service, guided by genuine care and a responsibility to make a difference in the lives of others,” said Adrian Williams, Chief Operating Officer of Accor in the Pacific region.
“STRYDE4 is a great example of how we bring this commitment to life. It has been fantastic to see our leaders embrace the challenge, connect with one another and have some fun along the way. We’re incredibly proud to support our charity partner, DV Collective, and contribute to the positive impact they are making in our communities.”
Accor’s participation reflects the Group’s ongoing commitment to the wellbeing of its people, fostering strong team cultures and supporting initiatives that create meaningful social impact in the communities where it operates, bringing to life its purpose: pioneering the art of responsible hospitality, connecting cultures, with heartfelt care.
