Beckons, the curated portfolio of luxury lodges for curious travelers seeking genuine connection to place, culture and the natural world, has celebrated a standout result in the Condé Nast Readers’ Choice Awards 2026, with every one of its nine lodges across Australia, New Zealand, Canada and Chile recognised across the reader-voted lists of the United States (US) and United Kingdom (UK) titles.

Some 798,867 travelers have voted for their favourite travel experience in this, the 39th annual survey for the US-based Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards. For Beckons, the results are headlined by its Australia-based lodges taking out the top three places in the Best Resorts in Australia and the South Pacific list, a special milestone in the brand’s launch year.

Silky Oaks Lodge, the tropical retreat in Queensland’s Daintree Rainforest, has been named the number one resort in Australia and the South Pacific, and has come in 15th place in US awards’ Best Resorts in the World lists, scoring 99.55 from a possible 100 points. Beckons flagship Southern Ocean Lodge on Kangaroo Island follows in second place with 98.50 points, with Capella Lodge on Lord Howe Island in third position on 98.43 points, completing a clean sweep of the podium for the Beckons luxury lodges in the region. Across the Tasman, Huka Lodge on the banks of the Waikato River in Taupō has also been named in 18th place on the list with a score of 96.85.

Clayoquot Wilderness Lodge on Vancouver Island’s wild west coast has ranked 10th in the Best Resorts in Canada list with 97.22 points, while in Chile, Tierra Patagonia has scored 98.58 points and Tierra Atacama has scored 97.44 points, placing the properties in third and ninth places respectively in the Best Resorts in South America. In the US awards’ World’s Best Hotels category, the Barossa Valley’s luxury lodge The Louise has placed 10th in the Best Hotels in Australia and New Zealand list with 96.18 points.

Meanwhile, readers of the 29th annual UK’s Condé Nast Traveller Readers’ Choice Awards have recognised four Beckons lodges in the Best Resorts in Australasia and the South Pacific list. Southern Ocean Lodge leads the collection’s results in fifth place with 96.84 points from 100, followed by Longitude 131° at Uluru-Kata Tjuta in seventh with 95.33 points, Huka Lodge in ninth with 94.90 points and Silky Oaks Lodge in 10th place with 93.50.

Beckons Chief Executive Officer Michael Crawford said seeing all nine lodges recognised across the UK and US Readers’ Choice Awards, and the Australian lodges claim of the top three places in the region, was a proud moment for the brand and a reflection of the dedication of every lodge team.

“To have all of our remarkable lodges across the Beckons portfolio recognised in the US and UK Condé Nast Readers’ Choice Awards is an extraordinary result, and a wonderful way to mark Beckons’ first year,” Mr. Crawford said. “This recognition speaks to the strength of our portfolio and the lasting connections our guests form with these rare places and the people who bring them to life.”

“These awards mean so much because they reflect the experiences our teams create every day,” he said. “Their care, passion and personal dedication help our guests feel truly connected to each destination and create memories that stay with them long after they return home.”

“To our guests who took the time to vote, thank you for your trust and for making us part of your lives. As we continue to grow our portfolio, our commitment remains deeply personal: to bring you into remarkable destinations in ways only we can, with the care and attention that make every journey meaningful.”
