Accor, Australia’s largest hospitality group, has signed an agreement with Reve Group to operate Novotel Sydney Castle Hill, a new-build hotel within the landmark Nova Rêve mixed-use precinct in Castle Hill.
Scheduled to open in early 2029, the hotel will feature 143 guestrooms, restaurants, cafes and bars including elevated dining with district views, a fitness centre, pool, and conference and events facilities, adding a new full-service, internationally branded accommodation offering to the Hills District.
The signing reflects growing confidence in Sydney’s north-west, where significant investment in transport, commercial, residential and lifestyle infrastructure is transforming the region into one of Greater Sydney’s fastest-growing precincts.
Located within walking distance of Castle Towers and Castle Hill Metro Station, Novotel Sydney Castle Hill will be well positioned to support the area’s expanding business and leisure demand, including corporate travellers, conference and events delegates, project teams and leisure guests.
“The signing of Novotel Sydney Castle Hill is a testament to the resilient demand for trusted, internationally recognised hospitality brands in key economic and lifestyle corridors across the Asia-Pacific region,” said Duncan O’Rourke, Chief Executive Officer, MEA APAC, Accor. “As urban dynamics shift, integrated mixed-use precincts like Nova Rêve are becoming the blueprint for modern living and travel. By partnering with Reve Group, we are not only expanding our footprint in Australia but also reinforcing our commitment to delivering versatile, high-quality hospitality hubs that serve both global travellers and thriving local communities.”
“Castle Hill is one of Sydney’s most dynamic growth corridors, supported by major investment in transport, retail and residential infrastructure,” said Adrian Williams, Chief Operating Officer of Accor in the Pacific region. “The signing of Novotel Sydney Castle Hill reflects our confidence in the future of the Hills District and the growing opportunity for hotels to play an important role within mixed-use precincts, bringing together accommodation, dining, meetings and social spaces that serve visitors and local communities alike. Working with our partners Reve Group, we look forward to delivering a hotel that supports the continued evolution of this precinct and meets the changing needs of business and leisure travellers.”
The hotel is being developed by Reve Group, a Hills District-based developer with more than 30 years’ experience delivering residential and mixed-use projects across Sydney. Nova Rêve is designed as a landmark mixed-use precinct in the Castle Hill town centre, bringing together residential, retail, hospitality and landscaped public gardens.
The precinct will comprise 253 apartments across three towers, rising to 23 levels at its tallest point, more than 1,600 square metres of ground level shops and cafes, and almost an acre of landscaped communal gardens. Architecture and interiors are by Turner, with landscape design by Land and Form Studios.
“As a local developer, we are proud to be shaping a project that responds to the future of Castle Hill and the wider Hills District. By partnering with Accor to bring Novotel to Nova Rêve, we add a globally recognised hospitality brand to the precinct and strengthen the development’s offering for residents, visitors, businesses and the broader community. It also gives the district somewhere to hold a conference, a wedding or a family celebration, and somewhere for visitors to stay, without leaving Castle Hill,” said Sam Kassis, Managing Director, Reve Group.
The signing comes as mixed-use developments continue to gain momentum across the Pacific, bringing together complementary uses to create more connected destinations where people can live, work, stay, dine and spend time. Hotels are playing an increasingly important role within these precincts, adding hospitality, dining, meeting and event spaces that serve both visitors and the surrounding community.
As one of the world’s leading hotel brands, Novotel continues to evolve in step with the needs of today’s travellers. Grounded in its ‘Longevity Everyday’ philosophy, the brand delivers simple, intuitive experiences that support wellbeing, connection and renewed energy across more than 620 hotels in 70 countries.
The signing further strengthens Accor’s development pipeline across the Pacific. The Group currently operates more than 420 hotels, resorts and extended stay properties across the region and continues to expand through strategic partnerships with owners and developers across key urban, suburban and leisure destinations.
