Michelin-starred KOL, ranked among the World’s 50 Best Restaurants, is marking its sixth anniversary with an extraordinary, one-night-only celebration on Sunday, 18th October.
Chef-Founder Santiago Lastra is transforming the restaurant into a dynamic culinary festival, hosting four of London’s most acclaimed chefs to interpret iconic Mexican dishes through their own distinct culinary lenses:

Each guest chef will draw on their signature philosophy to reinvent classic Mexican flavours using peak British seasonal produce. Santiago will showcase his own signature creation, celebrating the evolution of KOL over the past six years.
For this special evening, KOL’s ground-floor main dining room will be cleared of traditional seating, creating space for four additional dedicated live cooking stations. The event will begin with a welcome drink from Gut Oggau, a natural, biodynamic wine producer from Burgenland, Austria, followed by five dishes. The celebrations will continue downstairs with a signature cocktail from the KOL team, alongside a curated selection of drinks available for purchase.
“Since opening in 2020, KOL has grown enormously. The menu and service are continually evolving, but our dream remains the same: to share the soul of Mexico using locally sourced ingredients,” says Chef-Patron Santiago Lastra. “I’m incredibly grateful to our team and to every guest who has supported and believed in us over the past six years. Being able to do what I love alongside my team, and to use fine dining as a way to express ourselves and share our art is something I never take for granted. I’m really looking forward to celebrating with four amazing chefs who have been a great support over the past six years, who I deeply admire, and who represent a true legacy in London’s restaurant world.”
Tickets are priced at £135 per person and include a glass of Gut Oggau, five dishes, and a cocktail. Tickets will be available for purchase exclusively via the KOL newsletter on Monday, 28th September at 5pm.
